Today we’d like to introduce you to Solange Zindzi.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi My name is Solange and I was born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in Europe and my dad is from Curacao, an island in the Caribbean.
I started dancing at the age of four and have never stopped since. Through all the years, I graduated with having my Bachelor’s in Dance and a Bachelor’s in Dance Education back in 2011. While at school, I also did different dance gigs which varied from a national tour around the country to many different live performances during national shows & concerts, live TV or festivals.
After, I worked for almost four years on and off as a dancer on cruiseships which was an Amazing time in my life. I would wake up every day in another country, made friends all over the world, grew and evolve so much as a person and made money while performing on stage.
After this, I lived for a year in New York City which is where I grew my confidence (but also got challenged the most) and started to believe in myself more and more which became the reason I applied for my artist visa to hopefully one day move to the USA so I would be able to work as a dancer in the United States. The visa process was a massive struggle for me and took way more time and effort than I expected. I basically had to go on a million coffee dates to share my story to hopefully find people who were willing to help me with my visa – and this takes TIME and lots of investments related to money and energy.
While awaiting my visa approval I moved to Germany for 1 year where I worked as a dancer in different Theatre shows and eventually also did a showgirl contract for a famous Dinnershow out there.
Once my visa was approved, it took me some time to hold on to this dream and opportunity as over time I realized that all the jobs I was truly dreaming about – those opportunities – were actually in Los Angeles and not NYC. It took me a while to decide to move to the USA as I wasn’t sure If I was ready to start all over again in a New City AGAIN, after all the hard work I had done to create a home, network, etc. in NYC.
My drive was way bigger than my doubts and eventually, I found the strength to go for it. I moved to Los Angeles in December 2017 and in spring 2018, I booked my first world tour as a dancer. This tour was all around North, Mid and South America and this was a great time of my life. I love to travel, make memories, and experience different cultures all while getting paid to do what I love most –> DANCE.
Unfortunately, Spring 2020 put an ending to this dream life as Corona had different plans for the world.
My entire adulthood, people had always complimented me on my energy, mindset, drive, discipline, personality and reached many times out to me for any advice related to life. I also realized people were truly interested in my story and asked me often for personal advice. Because the pandemic put the world on pause. I decided to write out all my ‘ tools of life’ in the hope to inspire many more people to find the confidence to live their dreams (jump towards their dreams) and help them to no longer live in fear or doubt. Life is way to fragile to not make the most of it.
This became the start of a new chapter in my life as I now suddenly added another title to my name and became an Author of my book called: SOLO JUMP
What does SOLO JUMP stand for?
Solo means sun
Solo means alone (independent).
Jump stands for taking that leap of faith.
Jump stands for getting on your feet and into action
SOLO JUMP: having the courage to take that independent, individualistic leap toward your desires while shining bright (like the sun) along the way.

Because of a lot of amazing and encouraging feedback, I realized I wanted to dive even deeper. As much as my tools of life are based on my experiences and my personality, I wanted to learn more about mindset tools which were not just ‘created by me’ but actually backed up by science and spirituality which would work for anybody no matter your background or personality.
This became the reason I decided to do the online course of YES Supply where I became a certified mindset coach, NLP Practitioner and Hypnosis Practitioner, which eventuated into starting my own coaching business and right now, I am a life & success coach who helps people with explicit dreams to create incredible transformation in their lives. (SOLO JUMP THROUGH LIFE – is my motto)
At this point in my life, there are a lot of titles I can give myself but the once I resonate the most with are dancer, model, author, motivational speaker, mindset coach, movement coach, glow-getter expert, daughter, sister, aunty, friend and sunshine-lover.
I hope to continue to work as a dancer as long as I enjoy it while I inspire many people along the way to live their wildest dreams through sharing my story on podcasts, through my book, my blogpage and all while helping others as a coach, to find their personal tools, to build confidence to SOLO JUMP towards their personal dreams and desires.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road of course, but this is actually what builded my character. My biggest struggle was realizing that nobody believes in you until you believe in yourself. People FEEL it when you do. And once people feel so strongly that you believe in yourself, they are willing to help you easier and want to be part of this. A part of you, your vibe, your energy, your talent, your life which means they are also willing to help you on your journey.
The journey to truly believing in myself so strongly that I know that whatever I desire, I can truly manifest with the right mindset and energy has been my biggest task of life. This truly took EXPERIENCE, time, traveling, making friends, losing friends, starting over, moving continents, being alone, never being alone, heartbreaks, rejections and learning to become comfortable with being uncomfortable.
And the only way to practice this is by doing many things over and over again which you’ve never done before until being uncomfortable starts to feel comfortable as you now suddenly realize that that is the part where you grow the most and are truly becoming a new version of yourself. Once you’ve found a way to continue to show up for yourself and truly stick the promises you made yourself. Your confidence grows and you start to see challenges as stepping stones to get one step closer towards your desires!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a dancer who is known for my energy and performance skills. I’m known for my Boldness and my Positive Mindset which I’ve trained in a way that I will continue to find opportunity no matter how dark and negative it gets. (the motivation behind my online mini course – Positive Mindset Challange)
I’m the most proud of my journey (which is the reason behind my energy!! which is most people LOVE about me) as it wasn’t an easy one but right now, I continue to pave the way to hopefully help more and more people over time to feel less alone, to help them trust the journey, help them safe time and energy by sharing my knowledge and wisdom and motivate them to truly live their dreams. This is my drive and I aspire that everyone who gets to cross paths with me for that one minute or that chapter in life will feel better about themselves than they did before,
In the end. My energy is all I really have so it’s my daily job to keep it in the best way possible. Your frequency is everything!
Who else deserves credit in your story?
Too many people deserve credits. I believe you can’t do anything alone in life and we all need help. The crazy thing is a lot of times somebody can truly show up in an effortless way (for them) while they can truly CHANGE your life. I’ve had people who simply signed their signature under a letter which changed my life, people who offered me jobs which changed my life. Friends who decided to have 3am phone calls which changed my life, MY amazing mother who continues to believe in me no matter my crazy dreams which is part of me being able to find and keep my boldness to change my own life, My sister who has always been my #1 inspiration which means that her own life decisions became the inspiration behind me choosing and believing that I can change my life too. Random conversations with random people on the streets which shared knowledge which changed my life. Clients who shared their stories which changed my life. But also me being able to change somebody else’s life through lil or big things has changed my life thereupon again.
Besides my mama and sister who deserve the biggest credit, there are TOO MANY people who deserve credit which is why I won’t put any personal names down as it would do injustice to all the ones who aren’t mentioned. Big or Small all the credit should be equally the same as it all brought me to where I am today and without that moment, that conversation, that interaction, that decision, that signature, that moment of mentioning my name in a room when I wasn’t around, giving me a compliment, not giving me a compliment, choosing me, rejecting me…. it all brought me to where I am today and to who I have become. Even the worst experiences and the worst people I interacted with deserve credit as they helped me build my character to what it is right now. They helped me dive deeper into figuring out who I am and what to be. And I am so dahm proud of who I am today and what I have achieved that I would not have wanted to miss out on any of these opportunities which brought me closer to me being and becoming the truest version of me.
