Life & Work with RGN RAF

Today we’d like to introduce you to RGN RAF.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
All started in 2017, I was rolling with a couple of my boys, T$T Bunny and LilRamboJYB. They gave me my first experience at going to a studio. I always had an affinity towards music but that trip put a lot more things into perspective. I fell in love with the process. Fast forward to 2018, I formed RGN with a couple of my guys, and I and them as a collective haven’t looked back ever since when it came to recording and producing music. It was pretty slow for me and us as a whole the last couple of years but since 2021, we’ve picked it up a notch and don’t aim to look back.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Financial, mental, question of passion and just fully taking my time to be a student of the game and not rush any process. It’s been bumpy but as a whole, an interesting experience.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a musician. A rapper, I love making and writing music. I believe I’m able to blend into a wide group of genres of music and create worthy art.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Most important lessons I’ve learned were patience, and never underestimating the power of making and establishing physical connections. Especially as a creative.
