Life & Work with Maliyah London

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maliyah London. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Mommy and Daughter Book Duo

At the age of five Maliyah is an awesome storyteller. She helped her mother create “Dancing On The Moon” and is now a published Author. She enjoys telling her family and friends beautiful stories and loves telling her little brother bedtime stories. Maliyah book is now in two libraries. LA County and Inglewood Library. Our book is also located at the Amazing Cayton Children’s Museum in Santa Monica. Online at Walmart.com , Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com

Our children book has a beautiful message about boosting self esteem, motivation and determination. Encouraging children all around the world to Think Big, Dream Big and Dance Big. No matter how big the dream is, if you can dream it then you can achieve it.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been smooth because my mommy handles all the hard business stuff for me. I do remember one time we had to get a new illustrator for our book because The artist didn’t complete the task. It took a long time to find another illustrator again.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am Maliyah London, I write children’s books. I’m in kindergarten this year and I love being known for my awesome storytelling. I’m most proud that other kids feel inspired by my book and they love it as much as me. What sets my book apart from others is that my book is made by a kid for other kids. I know what we like.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I love making home videos with my family. I can be creative and as silly as I want. It’s so funny and fun to rewatch.
