Life & Work with Maeva Feitelson of Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maeva Feitelson.

Maeva, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Originally from France, I trained in Musical Theatre in London and debuted my career in the UK. Whilst there, I performed in different productions, the last one being « Tarantino Live » and met my now husband in the cast. He was from LA, so after we got married I moved to California and we are now both performing together in « Tarantino Pulp Rock » in Inglewood.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I graduated in Musical Theatre during the pandemic so it definitely has not been a smooth road, but I feel proud of every challenge I have overcome so far, including moving to 2 different countries, and having to start over every time. It’s been difficult at times, but it is so rewarding when the hard work and dedication pays off.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I first trained as a classical musician, in violin and piano. Then moved to London to train in Musical Theatre. I debuted as Ensemble in the WestEnd in « Rumi the musical », toured the UK in « Tales from a Thousand and One Nights », portrayed Janis Joplin in Sixties Girls in Germany and Fabienne in « Tarantino Live » in London.
Since I arrived in LA, I’ve signed with Aperture Talent Agency, and have been performing as Fabienne in « Tarantino Pulp Rock » since December 2024, at the Cinevita in Inglewood. I will be working on another musical at the end of the summer that I am VERY excited about but it’s still a secret….

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
As I mentioned, I moved to London from France and then from London to Los Angeles which feels very scary but was 100% worth it. I would not be doing the things I’m doing today if I hadn’t taken any leap of faith and I truly believe that what is meant to happen for you always will so I’d say always go for it even when it’s frightening.
