Life & Work with Leigh-Anne LoPinto

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leigh-Anne LoPinto.

Leigh-Anne LoPinto

Hi Leigh-Anne, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My work was born out of a period of my life when I was at rock bottom. My marriage had collapsed, and I was faced with the harsh truth that I didn’t know how to have healthy, happy relationships. It forced me to look at all of my relationship wounds and patterns that were creating these dynamics so that I could heal and grow from them. This led me back to early childhood trauma from neglect and an abusive relationship with my father. Doing deep healing work in these areas completely transformed my life.

Now, ten years later, I am surrounded by incredible relationships and am committed to always learning and growing until my last day.

The embodied wisdom that I learned through the fire is what I bring into my one-on-one work with clients, as well as my training as a psychologist and breathwork teacher. We go deep and get right to the heart of the matter so that we can heal and grow into our truest, most empowered self in relationships.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My path has not been easy. It has required tremendous humility and the willingness to look within to see what is and isn’t working rather than pointing the finger outward and blaming people and situations outside of myself. Personal responsibility has been a huge lesson I’ve had to learn, as well as self-love.

As it relates to relationships, I had to look at myself with honest eyes and admit that I didn’t know how to have a healthy, happy romantic partnership. From that place, I was able to learn how.

This humbleness and growth mentality has been one of the biggest transformative energies in my life and continues to shape me to this day.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a psychologist, relationship coach, and breathwork teacher who uses a variety of modalities tailored to each individual that I work with. My ultimate goal is to help people heal relational wounds that are contributing to unhealthy dynamics in romantic partnerships, friendships, and relationships in general. I specialize in conscious relationships, which means that I help people understand how relationships act as a mirror for us to see our blind spots so that we can heal, grow, and evolve on a soul level. This work is deep and life-changing. I believe that relationships are a major catalyst for human evolution and that we are only scratching the surface with what’s possible. Most people are unconsciously stuck in childhood wounds that drive their adult relationships. We work together to shine a light on the original imprints that caused you to show up the way you do in relationships, heal those wounds, and empower you to make different/more mature choices in your present-day life. What makes me different from other therapists is that I combine talk therapy with coaching so that we don’t just stay stuck in the past, we take actionable steps now to shape your present day reality. I also combine talking with breathwork, which makes the work truly holistic. This allows us to move beyond the conscious level of awareness and get into the subconscious, where deep healing is possible. The type of breathwork that I use gets you into an altered state, which acts as a bridge into the spiritual/energetic realms. Simply stated, we work with both the right and left sides of the brain for complete healing.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
My work goes beyond working one-on-one with people. I also have a podcast that gets deep into some of my teachings, as well as in-depth articles on Substack. Every month, I also run a women’s circle that includes group breathwork. The best way to stay in touch with my work is to follow me on Instagram and Substack as well as subscribing to the podcast on Apple Podcasts.
