Today we’d like to introduce you to Lee Bolden
Hi Lee , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I moved to California around 6 years ago to do door to door sales. I wanted to start my own business, but then the pandemic happened and I lost everything. I wasn’t sure what was next, but that’s when I found TikTok. At first, I was hesitant about the idea of being a content creator but I started posting content and some videos took off. I started seeing people live my dream life from creating content and knew I could do the same. At first it was just for fun until I did my first brand deal and I saw how much money can be made. I decided to pursue it full time at that moment.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s honestly been the bumpiest road thus far for me in terms of a career. I’ve had a lot of viral videos that would get millions of views but I wouldnt get followers. Then id see other creators with less viral videos get more followers, and it was demotivating. I was struggling to find partnerships and struggling to negotiate fair amounts for my work. At that time I was in an environment that wasn’t allowed me to be my most confident self, which is needed to create good content. I had to re-find my purpose and my why. The road has gotten a lot smoother thanks to my frequent viral videos and I feel like I’ve made a name for myself in the content creation world.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a TikTok content creator specializing in engaging talking videos meant to spark conversation. I’m known for my ability to deliver talking videos in a quick and engaging way, while also mixing in some comedic value. I’m most proud of being the #1 trending creator on TikTok for a week, and having the most viral video to start off 2025. What sets me apart from others is my ability to capture my audience’s attention quickly with my unique start to my videos
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My advice would be to just put yourself out there. Find people that you look up too, or that do things that you want to do and get around them. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and don’t be afraid to be vulnerable.
