Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaylee Kay228.
Hi Kaylee, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I’ve had a passion for music ever since I was a child. Growing up in the 90s, listening to various artists that my mama used to play really inspired me to get into my own sound. Eventually, I was able to discover that I was good at music myself. Singing in the mirror as a child, always wanting to be in the spotlight, I just knew this is where I was supposed to be. From there, I went full fledge. I started taking it my music career serious about two years ago now. Seeing the support grow, it gave me more confidence to go harder in the music industry, so I’ve been doing so ever since.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There’s never a smooth path in anything you do in life. There’s always gonna be ups and downs, but that’s the way of the game. We just gotta play it and be able to move with good intentions for ourselves, always thinking ahead of the game, moving at our own pace, not worrying about anybody else. Knowing that my time will come soon has helped me stay focused.

I see myself as more than just an artist. In this generation, I have my own identity to my music, which gives my listeners a better idea who I am. My fans are able to connect with me more, being that I go off realness. I do it for those who won’t stop until they get what they want. It’s not a race. Life is what you make it, so I try to put that perspective into my music, and it helps my audience understand the art. I’m also a content, creator, making funny videos, and skits have always been a thing for me since I’ve always been an outgoing person, I love to have fun, I love to create, and I love to goof around. What do you think about happiness?
Live and makes me happy being able to get to do this every single day waking up with a new chance of life is what makes me happy. My daughter Kiya Who gives me strength as a mom. Wanting more opportunities in the music industry so she can have a better future. Every day I gotta get up and get it knowing that I got somebody looking up to me, so it gives me a better understanding of what my purpose is in life. All around, you gotta be happy every day!
