Today we’d like to introduce you to Juan Carlos Enciso Aguirre
Hi Juan Carlos , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
After finishing my studies at the age of 18 in my country Colombia and a year later coming with a tourist visa to the United States, I was in Miami, New York and Los Angeles in the summer of 1998, I fell in love with the climate and the American dream with the help of Some friends gave me a period of 4 months to go live alone, I made the decision to stay here and work for a while but it is not as easy as it seems, there are many challenges, one of which is loneliness, the language and not knowing When I returned to my country, I started working in a marble restoration company but the process has many inconveniences but over time I learned everything about the restoration of natural stone and how delicate it is to work in very luxurious houses but my Irish boss He was in charge of explaining to clients the doubts and worries of those who want everything quickly and well. He was an angel along the way but due to rivalries with the team, after 5 years there I had to leave and start again in another company for many years. but without much opportunity to advance due to many fears and doubts, I felt frustrated because the language has been my biggest challenge, but getting married and with the birth of my daughter, the pandemic, I had to leave my comfort zone and find a way for my work to be recognized and take the risk of speaking English and trying because I no longer had time to go to study, investing to do my own work and take advantage of what I learned to maintain a home, the pandemic made me stronger and I realized what I could do alone but with a lot of faith to get ahead, the recommendations and social networks showing the processes of stone restoration so that clients who do not know anything can have an idea and see the result of the experience of my work now. Designers put marble in spaces such as kitchens, bathrooms, islands and marble counters, small marble floors that need annual and preventive maintenance because it is a soft and porous stone and very exclusive. If nothing is done, the investment could be lost and there is no nothing to do, I continue with the challenge of captivating clients to make my dream of buying my own home come true and not paying more rent, I continue working for that dream without giving up and continue helping those I love the most because the Los Angeles of this city continue to illuminate my way the guarantee of my work is honesty
