Life & Work with Johnny Felix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Johnny Felix. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Johnny Felix created Talento Creations in November 2021. Local artist and resident in the Aurora area. The name of “TALENTO” is reference as “TALENT” to express his artwork to motivate youth and adults of his unique art creation.

Started art at the age of nine worked with all types of mediums to his art. 2005 I couldn’t afford a canvas for an art contest in high school and used a plastic board with acrylic paint and received 3rd place. Still today TALENTO is still using different mediums like this year of a hood of a car to do artwork. My goal is to be different in the artworld to see artwork never seen before.

What is unique he uses halogram glitter to create movement. As well his new trend “TALENTO GALAXY “ to create space colors to create the inspiration to create your universe.“Urban Pulse” was inspired seeing heartbeat monitors from the hospital and to commemorate my Mother-N-Law in my artwork. One artwork that is in the Waterford Cancer Facility in Aurora, il to honor her and cancer patients as well to create it to artwork.

Two important trends in Johnny Felix artwork is back on every canvas or reprint he has created quotes to inspire the the audience the overall perspective of the artwork. His best trend is the glow n the dark that he has created most of his work and defining the glow n the dark as an energy of talent that is presented in your soul that no one doesn’t know about. Stay tuned

Talento Creation is doing future collaboration with local artist in the Aurora area. Remember your journey defines you what you want in life so REMEMBER….. “Impossible is Possible”

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Some of my struggles was my mental illness during my last 2 years of doing art when my Mother-N-Law Maria Vasquez fought Cancer and passed away in March 2023. It was a struggle to find meditation to give her support and compassion. Once I started to revive my art skills back in 2021 and now it’s been a dream come true. I found how to incorporate my healing process to commemorate my artwork towards my Mother-N-Law and create positive energy to share it with others who can relate or admire my artwork. I live by a quote that I tell everyone on a daily basis.

“Impossible is Possible”
TALENTO

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
“Urban Pulse” was created from the heartbeat monitors from the hospital when my Mother-N -Law Maria Vasquez was going through a difficult time with cancer to commemorate her as well. You will see your unique linework in most of my art pieces to honor her and keep the story going

I’m really known for my glow n the dark trend of the fact it is cool, unique & different in the artworld.

What sets me apart I like create platforms for others from collaborations with local artists & purchasing artwork from local artists. My goal was to be always different and share with others if the opportunity is given. Roberto Clemente was my idol to make an impact in the world and in baseball. My goal was to make an impact in the world with my art.
