Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Lima.
Hi Jessica, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I am Jessica Lima, an Brazilian born in Manaus – Amazonas, but I have lived most of my life in Chapada dos Veadeiros – Alto Paraíso de Goiás, the place I call home, completely immersed in nature. A truly magical place surrounded by waterfalls, crystals and an alternative community that has awakened in me a deep sense of connection with the Earth.
I have always been driven by a deep desire to explore the unseen and the unknown. I dreamed of being an archaeologist, I started studying Geology, I lived in an indigenous village in the Amazon, I immersed myself in the world of Permaculture and explored the magic of medicinal plants and herbs, and in the same way, I went to Paris to study Photography and Audiovisual. My paths were never obvious — and I never wanted them to be.
I’ve always had a vibrant creative and entrepreneurial side to me, and that’s how LaTerra came about, my brand of natural cosmetics, with pure ingredients and a real purpose. And it was through this creation that I realized my true talent: uniting art, nature and consciousness to inspire others to express themselves with authenticity and beauty.
My quest for self-knowledge led me to study tools such as Human Design, Akashic Records and neuroscience applied to creativity. With this background, I developed Golden Synergy, a mentoring program for creative leaders who want to unlock their potential and create authentic digital businesses aligned with their purpose.
I currently live in Los Angeles, where I continue to combine all these experiences in my work as a content creator, creative director, and mentor. I have worked with major media brands, such as TikTokShop in Hollywood. I am even more focused on creating a support network for the community of people building authentic businesses, connected to their essence.
My mission is to transform experiences into purpose – and show that it is possible to live from your art, your truth, and your unique vision.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was definitely not a smooth road — and, honestly, I wasn’t looking for tranquility. I was looking for truth. And truth, sometimes, comes in the form of chaos, doubt, and new beginnings.
Choosing to live outside of the outdated system, following intuition instead of ready-made formulas, not having a “safe” plan… all of this led me to constantly question my worth, my direction, and even my sanity. I lived on little money, sometimes having to trade work for housing, without knowing exactly where I would be the next month.
I’ve felt lost between worlds: the spiritual and the strategic, the artistic and the entrepreneurial. But it was in this back and forth that I found my strength. Each rupture, each non-standard choice, taught me to trust my vision — even when no one understood.
Dealing with judgments, insecurities, and the internal pressure to “be successful” were real challenges. But I transformed these struggles into fuel. Today, everything I teach in my Golden Synergy mentorship comes from this place that I’ve lived, felt, and experienced.
Nothing was easy, but everything was true and meaningful. And it is this truth that guides me to this day.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a creative mentor and my mission is to awaken the creative potential of entrepreneurs, artists and visionary leaders. I help people reconnect with their essence and transform it into something authentic and profitable — a business, a brand or a project that is the truest expression of who they are.
My work is divided between LaTerra, my natural cosmetics brand created by my passion for alchemy, nature and sacred beauty, and Golden Synergy, my mentoring for creative leaders. In it, I combine strategic branding, digital marketing and applied spirituality, bringing tools that have helped me in my personal development such as: Human Design, Akashic Records and neuroscience to guide each client in building their own path.
I am known for seeing what many do not see — that latent talent, that unexplored idea — and translating them into something solid, with aesthetics, authenticity and purpose. I am proud to be a bridge between the sensitive and the strategic, helping people to make the most of their gifts in a genuine and impactful way.
What sets me apart? I don’t teach ready-made formulas. I create paths. Personalized paths that respect each person’s individuality, bringing clarity, direction and discipline so that dreams stop being just ideas and become profitable realities.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about Los Angeles is its vibrant energy and cultural diversity that is reflected in every corner. The city is a unique mix of creativity, innovation and freedom. Each neighborhood has its own personality, and it is impossible not to be inspired by the diversity of people, ideas and projects that are always in motion here. Los Angeles is the place where dreams meet opportunities, and I feel like I am at the epicenter of all this, especially in my creative field. The energy of this city drives me to create, innovate and explore new possibilities. However, like any big city, there is still a lot of social inequality, many people living on the streets, something very visible in Downtown and Hollywood, and the fast and sometimes impersonal pace that the city imposes. The constant pursuit of success and the excessive focus on appearance can make it difficult to find genuine balance. I feel that the city, because it is so big and diverse, can sometimes become a bit disconnected and lack a deeper sense of community at times. But I’m grateful to have been welcomed in Los Angeles and, even though I don’t consider it my home, I feel like I have a special place here, with a network of people and experiences that help me stay connected to my essence.
