Life & Work with Jasmine Sandoval of Los Angeles

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Sandoval

Hi Jasmine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started off even learning how to be comfortable putting my emotions on paper in my first poetry class in highschool. I learned rhyme scheme learned how to make a beautiful story from parts of my life to slowly being more and more comfortable communicating it verbally. I was always very shy and had a hard time just talking in general so that class really helped me get to where I am now I truly believe

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My pants would be on fire if I said it was a smooth road literally.
The good thing about me is that no matter how hard a day is or how hard life is in general something about it makes me want to push through because I know after the hardest times of my life the best outcome isn’t far away. I think right now at this moment my struggles my biggest one is just being responsible. Kind of being all over the place my life is some what chaotic. I would stay it’s the biggest struggle but I definitely have my bad days where I think I should probably book a therapy session to deal with all the trauma I’ve endured the last few years

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
So first off I’m jasmine Armani firstly, then second I’m bbyafricka. I’m a mom a model a musician singer songwriter. Just creative genius. I wouldn’t say I specialize in just one thing as a creative I get my hands in everything and learn it to the best of my ability and in a way my brain understands it. Now what I’m known for, funny enough actually I would say it depends who you ask I’ve been hearing alot as of lately that ppl just thought I was a model and didn’t know I did music and then ofcourse there’s that flipped. I think from my perspective and just with how long I’ve been in the public eye, I was known for being a sad young girl sharing her poetry on tumblr. I’ve been the feee spirit naked girl on your timeline, I’ve been a crazy girl who loves to party and start shit or finish it, I’ve been a vulnerable artist of many genres an experimental artist, a community activist, a survivor and a creator of life. I’m most proud of where I am today after everything honestly what sets me apart from everyone else I mean only quite literally every single thing about me from looks to what’s inside and what comes out what you see and hear to say the least

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Yeah people are dirty and don’t care to take care of themselves or isolate from others
