Life & Work with Jadé Ajose of Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jadé Ajose

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey has been a whirlwind—from London to Nigeria, and finally landing in the States—all thanks to my parents’ ambitious dreams. They are successful entrepreneurs but sought greater opportunities for us as children, relentlessly pursuing the American dream. Their drive has always inspired me, reminding me of their sacrifices and urging me to push myself to achieve my own aspirations to the fullest.

Even back in Nigeria, I was glued to movies, music – anything cultural. I was an Usher fanatic, even bought the lyric books for 8701! I always had my heart set on LA and a career in entertainment, so I started off as an intern at Scoremore Shows in Austin, doing everything from blogging on their site to handing out fliers with the street team – even driving talent to festivals picking them up from the airport. When I moved to Miami, Scoremore hooked me up with Dope Entertainment, which led to my big break doing PR for Rolling Loud Music Festival.

That’s the essence of how I’ve come this far… seizing every opportunity, big or small, and giving it my all. Hard work has always paid off for me. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with top marketing agencies and handle brands like Facebook, Verizon, Toyota, T-Mobile, and work alongside incredible talent like the late Kobe Bryant and Michael B. Jordan, among others.

I’m currently the Head of Talent and Partnerships at H&S Communications, where I handle talent and partnerships for clients like Booking.com and Samsonite. It’s honestly a dream job for me—I always wanted to be in A&R as a kid, where I get to spot and cultivate new talent, so it’s pretty lit that it’s all come together even better than I imagined.

From doing so many entertainment deals is what made me decide to get my real estate license and I’m with Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills, which is a huge accomplishment.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all. Losing my mom in my early twenties was incredibly tough, and I’ve had to navigate many challenges on my own since then. But I’ve come to see things in a more positive light, feeling grateful and blessed to have had her as my mom. We only get one life, and I want to live it to the fullest, love deeply, and make the most of every opportunity. I’ll never stop praising my mom because she was absolutely amazing—she always made me feel like I could conquer the world. That’s partly why it took me a while to get back to you (LOL!); she would have loved this kind of opportunity.

In the words of Nipsey Hussle, she’d encourage me to ‘Finish what we started, reach them heights, you know?’ I’m grateful that I’m now in a place where I can talk about her openly, something I couldn’t do for a long time.

Aside from that, my biggest challenge is staying focused. I work hard to limit distractions and surround myself with people who genuinely want to see me succeed and have my best interests at heart. Over time, I’ve become more patient and laid-back, taking each day as it comes. While I used to plan my life out decades ahead and was very ambitious—still am—I now prioritize being present, which brings me more happiness. I’ve realized I already have everything I need and want, so I trust that what’s meant for me will come at the right time. By attacking each day with purpose, I believe I’ll wake up one day exactly where I’ve always wanted to be. For me, happiness truly lies in enjoying the journey rather than fixating on the destination.

I’m also very well aware of my worth and value; I used to have a bit of imposter syndrome, but my mentality now is ‘Why not me?’ Each and every single one of us on this planet deserves the best of the best. Being aware of my worth goes hand in hand with being patient—I don’t feel like I have anything to prove to anyone, so it’s all about being the best version of myself and making quality life choices.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
What we do is pretty incredible—I specialize in crafting integrated marketing campaigns that truly align with brands’ strategic goals. My focus is primarily on entertainment and building strong partnerships with top talent, though I also enjoy the flexibility of working with influencers to amplify.

One of the most fulfilling experiences of my career was collaborating with Kobe Bryant’s team at Granity Studios. Leading the marketing efforts for their young adult book releases was not just a professional milestone but a deeply rewarding opportunity to witness how our work positively impacted society. Managing that final shoot in October 2019 remains one of my most cherished memories.

Before my current role, I founded JahDay, Inc., a talent agency, and had the privilege of securing the spirits sponsorship for Michael B. Jordan’s Legacy Classic. This event celebrated HBCU culture and basketball, with proceeds benefiting HBCUs—a project close to my heart. Hosting the private kick-off party alongside Grand Marnier was a major highlight and a testament to the power of meaningful collaborations.

As Head of Talent and Partnerships at H&S, I’m thrilled by our ongoing opportunities to innovate and create impactful campaigns. One of our standout achievements is the Jet Gala, a remarkable collection inspired by fashion’s grandest evenings. During the Met Gala, in collaboration with Samsonite, we orchestrated a groundbreaking brand moment: The Jet Gala, disrupting fashion’s pinnacle event with unexpected brand presence.

This campaign featured four standout looks, each a tribute to the essence of sartorial elegance that defines the night. Below is a glimpse of the Cardi B-inspired ensemble—a testament to the creativity fostered by our talented team at H&S. Working alongside such passionate individuals is truly an honor, and I deeply value the support and encouragement from our CEO and my direct manager, who have created an environment where I can thrive and continually push myself to excel.

Looking far into the future, I aim to expand into real estate—an area where I see great potential to make a difference and extend my influence beyond marketing. It’s interesting how both roles go hand in hand, reflecting an entrepreneurial, relentless, get-it-done mentality.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
