Today we’d like to introduce you to Faye Arazo
Hi Faye, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born and raised in the Philippines, in a farm/village to be exact.I was blessed to be able to get out and pursue this thing called American dream and support my family. Caregiving is my first job (still doing it to date) as service and caring is my love language.Back in 2013 i decided i wanted an online store, made it happened and so then and there Phily Avant was born.Then it transitioned to photography, creating events , all things creative and afterwards i’m like i wanted a digital agency with an idea in mind of giving jobs to those who needed it part time (single mom-dad or anyone who needed that few hours to get by- of course they were all screened and trained and be up for the job but the goal is to help those who is struggling to find a job/career at the same time lightening the work load of our clients with great satisfaction ) so i pursued it so now we are running a full digital marketing agency, based in Torrance and some of my team are in the Philippines.We serve worldwide actually.
I am very down to earth person, even though i could be a high maintenance ( LOL ).But trust ,i’m very lovable once you get to know me (smile).I am very hard working ,from cleaning houses to be working as an assistant to a handy man.Yes, i can rip apart a dry wall with no problem and demolish a kitchen and some. I love to take on a challenge, whenever there is work..i will try and do it when i can and capable, time wise. And once i try and i learned its not for me then i keep going with an experience in hand and never said i cant without trying it first.I consider myself very reliable person, a go getter, resilient and always have a positive outlook in life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I wouldn’t say smooth nor very rough as opposed to whats going on in the world.I consider myself blessed even i have nothing on my account.It’s rough i would say because i had to work extra on my confidence especially seeing a lot of them made it but i told myself if they can do it i sure can also…years of self educating myself, learning and getting experienced. So i had to put myself out there being my own cheerleader and a mentor, well the internet too, haha! It took me a while also to find a crowd that have the same goal in life or just wanted to learn as much as i do or one of those scenario that the people around you doesn’t support you and even you try to bring them with you they just don’t care.LOL.But it’s okay.I don’t hold grudges as we all have different life path.And also i questioned myself sometimes that i bite more than i can chew or with all this work i given myself because i have so much desires and dream and i went for it…But i wouldn’t want it any other way because God gave me all the skills and talent and goals so i tapped into it.Of course i have family and great friends that with it, so i wouldn’t say no support at all but to jump wanting to be your own boss and be an entrepreneur while having a day job, some people only see you once you succeed not all the years of work and struggle making it. I guess me having a strong personality and very independent none of them know really if i am going through hard times which i did many times so leaned in to GOD, that always got my back.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a photographer. I would say what set me apart is i’m like the neighborhood/ a friend of a friend go to person.If they want photos or decorate an event on a budget.Im there for them..The joy that i see on their faces with what i presented or what i put together for them was priceless.I love bringing happiness wherever i go.
As a full digital marketing agency owner, we pride on bringing top notch quality work and yet known for its affordability. We wont sell services you don’t need..We offer websites, seo to name a few and we also have virtual assistant.We care for our clients like family.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice is just go for it, mistakes are made for a good comeback.Keep learning because delayed gratification is sweeter after you went through it all.There will always have a struggle along the way but never forget the abundance resources and opportunities around. You just have to know where to find it and get it but sometimes God just presented it to you.I still have a long way to go but i am grateful where i’m at while scaling the business so i can help more people.
