Today we’d like to introduce you to Ed Gage.
Hi Ed, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up with dreams of being an entertainer. Almost 8 years ago I took a leap of faith and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue my journey as an actor, stuntman, martial artist and musician. In the last eight years have been one incredible history since.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’d be a liar if I said it was a smooth road. There’s been a lot of obstacles. Times where it’s been rough around the edges, times where I wanted to give up, times where I wanted to hang it up for good, but I managed to stay resilient throughout it all.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an actor, musician, stuntman, and a martial artist. As an actor I’m known for appearing in numerous TV shows and films, including “The Mandalorian,” “Westworld,” Amazon’s “Hunters,” “Pact Of Vengeance,” and even a music video for Cypress Hill. The credit list just keeps building up. In my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside and/or watching and learning from legendary figures in the industry, such as Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Mark Wahlberg, Danny DeVito, James Marsden, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jon Favreau, Malcolm McDowell, and many others. As a musician I’ve collaborated, recorded, and/or performed with current and former members of renowned international acts, including Anthrax, W.A.S.P., Yngwie Malmsteen, Lita Ford, Grim Reaper, Raven, Vicious Rumors, Chastain, and Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Inductee, Melle Mel. As a martial artist, I’m currently training in Tae Kwon Do and I hold a first-degree black belt in the discipline. I’ve has also explored various other forms of martial arts and have had the opportunity to train with iconic figures such as Benny ‘The Jet’ Urquidez, Don ‘The Dragon’ Wilson, Leo Fong, and more. I’m very proud of everything I’ve done big or small. I think what sets me apart from everyone else is that I’m a go-getter and I aim big, I try not to settle for anything less. The sky is the limit.
What matters most to you? Why?
I think what matters most is perfecting my craft, mainly because I know that perfecting it and always giving it my 150% is always rewarding in the long run.
