Today we’d like to introduce you to Dominic King.
Hi Dominic, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I was always creative as a kid, but when I moved into my space, I wanted art around me and decided to pick up a paintbrush. From there, I just kept at it!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road hasn’t been smooth at all; it’s a journey, though, and I’ve learned to appreciate the process. Nothing worth having is going to be easy, and that’s something I understand from playing basketball.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I do a lot what I’m currently choosing to share with the world are the paintings I work on, which speak to the power and confidence of my people along our journeys.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up.
My favorite childhood memory would be coming to California on a trip with my mom before I lived here or taking a road trip with her to Oregon.
