Today we’d like to introduce you to Davo.
Hi Davo, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was born and raised in Orange County, CA. I fell in love with music as a child and in the past few years began performing in local shows around OC/LA with my band Death Will Bring Change. I have the privilege of writing and performing with two of my good friends, Brian Garcia and Tristan Jacobo, my DWBC bandmates. We’re currently working on our next release! Dropping early 2023.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being in a band is far from smooth. You’ve got three guys with different tastes in music, different ideas, different influences and different schedules which can make it difficult as hell to plan rehearsals and studio time but what keeps us together is the respect we have for each other and the love we have for the music. We make it work and we love what we do.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m most proud of the music we’ve made so far and the shows we put on. We always want to put on the best show we can. I’m very proud of us for sticking with it cause It’s not always easy. Regardless of how things are going, we look forward to each release and each show with the mindset that it’s gonna be better. We always hold the position that we have yet to play our best show and we have yet to write our best song. Perhaps that’s what sets us apart. Another thing that sets us apart is our lead guitarist Tristan will fucking jump into the pit in the middle of the song while still playing the guitar. Maybe I don’t get out much, but I’ve never seen anyone do that! Lol
