Life & Work with Dare Taylor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dare Taylor. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Dare Taylor

Dare Taylor started off as a simple pageant girl growing up in Minnesota. She was homeless at 18 years of age living out of her car and working 7 jobs to make ends meet. She decided to pick everything up and move across the country to Orlando Florida and to work for the Walt Disney World company. After one audition Dare quickly became a Walt Disney World entertainer full time making her dreams come true and pulling her out of her homeless state.

Dare then started her social media journey while working at Disney World and was quickly discovered by an LA producer/ director. After hearing that she could not move up into an Equity (Higher paid) Singing & acting role with the company she decided to take the leap of being a full-time content creator – actress She moved across the country to Hollywood!

Despite all the people in her life that didn’t believe in her, bullied her, or even just simply said she wouldn’t make it she fought recently to prove them wrong.

Currently, Dare has acting projects coming out very soon (check her IMDB), she has an original song on the horizon and so much more. Be sure to follow her Instagram for daily updates and news 😉 DareTaylorofficial.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being homeless and living out of my car for two weeks was pretty rough. But I don’t think that hurt as bad as having my parents at the time not support me. It’s hard to watch your family turn their back on you when all we as people want is acceptance and love.

Recently my parents have come around and totally have my back. But the damage has been done and boundaries have been set. But I am currently working on that in therapy and I feel really good about my mental health journey.

I think the most relevant struggle is the “Onlyfans stereotype ” that boxes me in as a content creator. I will have the opportunity to be a part of HUGE running shows (some that are big names) and I have been overlooked because I simply have a profile on a webpage. I am SO MUCH MORE than my body, I have been studying acting for years and can’t wait for my big break. I can and will shock people and I can’t wait to blow that stereotype out of the water.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am commonly known as a content creator and actress. I hope to continue this but also add singer-songwriter and director to my resume. (which will be happening very soon)

What sets me apart is my creative mindset and never letting anything get in my way. I am an advocate for people who have been through trauma in their lives and overcoming that trauma. You can see that in my content I put out on Tiktok.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I have a really great team that backs me in my projects! Chrissy is my hair and make-up artist – assistant always is pumping up my projects and jumping in with the assist.
