Today we’d like to introduce you to Chanelle Quintin.
Hi Chanelle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I initially started off as an esthetician. Working from home so I could still be a full time mom and raise my son while working. Fast forward 9 years, my son and I began attending a church in Los Angeles and just through small talk, and people already being in the acting and modeling industry, they began to pull me in. I was hesitant at first of course- you never know who is going to be a legit company and you of obviously want to always make your time worthwhile. There is also so much scam so naturally it’s important to be cautious and have good judgement. But by Gods good graces, before I knew it, I was working on set of some pretty big productions like Greys Anatomy, Dr. Odyssey, and All American. I’ve begun now walking on runways and have modeled for some pretty presigious and well known designers in the fashion world. It’s all been a fun road for me to travel and I hope to be able to continue to only go upward from here.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
If I’m being 100% transparent, it has not always been a smooth road. Now looking back in hindsight, I do see how the challenges of trying to wear multiple hats- being a mom, still running my own business and growing within the acting/modeling world now more rapidly while keeping your morals and values very present. I’d say balancing it all and keeping your roles in life still very full and not cutting any corners. Staying sharp is the most important thing for me, so the balancing aspect of it all is what’s been the most challenging.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I don’t like to just step into anything. The world of modeling and acting wasn’t any different—I showed up with presence. Whether it was owning the camera with a single look or wanting to bring a scene to life with unexpected flair, I’ve always had a knack for turning heads and keeping them there when it comes to work. I personally like to mix discipline with a dash of unpredictability, and that’s where the magic happens. From high-fashion shoots to acting roles, I bring more than just a look—I like to bring a vibe you can’t quite pin down, but you definitely won’t forget.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
What was I like growing up. That’s a really good question actually! Growing up, I was sharp, curious, and quietly determined. I had a natural drive to figure things out on my own and a confidence that showed in the way I spoke and took risks. I trusted my instincts. I wasn’t the loudest voice, but I didn’t need to be—I knew what I brought to the table. I loved exploring ideas, challenging the norm, and carving my own path, even when it meant standing apart. I knew early on that I was meant for more than just blending in.
