Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian O’shea
Hi Brian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Born and raised in the small city of Rosario, Argentina, I always felt like I didn’t belong there. If you don’t like soccer in Argentina then you don’t have any friends kinda thing.
So at 19, I dropped out of Med School and decided to go backpack around Europe to find myself. The journey ended up taking me to Australia to study acting, and that’s where I discovered Chinese food for the first time (Chinatown was the cheapest place to rent)
After that I fell in love with Chinese food and decided to move to China to eat my life away and film the process at the same time. Turns out that would quickly gain me 10M followers, talk shows, TV dramas and movies with the top of the top celebrities there.
And in 2022 I decided it was time to finally pursue my acting dream in Hollywood so I moved to LA to get on the audition grind. I recently finished filming a feature film which I can’t wait to show everyone when it’s out!
Also finished writing my own feature film which was an incredible journey.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been an alligator filled rollercoaster on fire to put it mildly. The strikes, a horrible breakup, my manager taking my social media accounts hostage, projects that never happened, COVID, you name it
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Im an actor. I had a very successful social media run in China, amassing 10M followers, but at the end of the day what my soul wants to do is act. I did multiple Tv dramas in China, and working my way up in Hollywood atm. What sets me apart is my collection of skills, the most impressive being my passion for languages (Spanish, English, Mandarin, Italian and Japanese) and my martial arts skills (long sword, Kali sticks, knives, Muay Thai, boxing, etc)
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Perseverance and resilience. Keep at it and when you fail, get back up and go even stronger. Otherwise this industry will eat you alive
