Today we’d like to introduce you to Breanna Fitchew.

Breanna, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
2016 I lost a portion of my heart when my grandmother passed away which caused a complete mental spiral. I went from a very active person to minimal activity causing me to create poor eating habits and gain a significant amount of weight. Up until 2019, I struggled on and off getting myself together while I watched several loved ones continue to pass away due to health complications and not taking care of themselves! I watched my family carry the same unhealthy habits from generation to generation and I knew I need to break this! In order to save others, I needed to save me! Fast forward, I lost 65lbs on my nutrition plan, regained my energy and confidence and became a Health and Wellness Coach. Through this, I am now a certified Spin Cycling, Full Body H.I.I.T, and Bricks step aerobics instructor. Alongside helping my community learn proper eating habits the importance of a healthy consistent lifestyle mentally and physically.

From this as my confidence grew, I created an activewear brand Latrese Marie that targets women who want to feel secure in their gym clothes and get rid of the consistent pulling, tugging, and embarrassing sweat stains. Ladies, I know you hate those pants that slide down all throughout your workout!

My primary focus is pouring good energy and positivity in every single person I come across! You never know how much a small gesture may mean to them! We all have a starting point and sometimes we have a continuous cycle of starting over but what matters most is we don’t give up!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been bumpy, many tears and hard days, several start overs and readjustments. One of the biggest challenges was finding love in my new body! Losing weight and becoming more fit is beautiful but no one talks about the many changes your body goes through in the process! The person I once knew was no longer the same mentally or physically! Also, struggles of becoming the black sheep, the oddball, oftentimes when you begin a different lifestyle it’s hard for those around to accept these changes. When I was uninterested in certain foods and alcohol there were often comments made. I saw a post that people don’t say anything when you’re chugging alcohol eating out every day but have so much to say when you begin a healthier lifestyle!

Losing friends was also a big struggle. Everyone is not always rooting for what you want! They can have their own opinions based on personal vendettas and emotions and may not allow looking out for your best interest.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I treat every workout like a performance. I give my all as an instructor to create the most effective yet challenging workouts while keeping a fun, positive and entertaining energy to keep the vibes high! Every day I stand to make a difference in my community, even if it’s just a smile and wave or watching someone walk into my room timid and walking out fearless!
