Today we’d like to introduce you to Bonnie Lippincott.
Hi Bonnie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Absolutely! Entry Level Mom started as a way to promote my book of the same name—a heartfelt, funny guide for women navigating the identity shift of early motherhood. What began as a small podcast (I thought I would do 12 episodes for my 12 chapters, divided by topic) quickly grew into something much bigger and more beautiful .
I started by having honest conversations with other women about ambition, burnout, parenting, identity, and resilience. I kept hearing, “I thought I was the only one! and that’s when I knew I was onto something special.
Over time, the show evolved into a community and a platform that’s not just about motherhood, but about reimagining success on your own terms. Now, with over 80 episodes, Entry Level Mom is a space where women come to feel seen, supported, and inspired—whether they’re raising kids, chasing dreams, or doing both.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road—but that’s part of what makes the Entry Level Mom story real and relatable.
In the beginning, I was juggling full-time work, raising very young kids, and trying to figure out how to launch a podcast with zero audio experience.
There were late nights, tech issues, self-doubt, and moments where I questioned whether anyone would even listen. But the hardest part was learning to give myself permission to try.
Over time, I realized that the messiness was part of the magic.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At my core, I love to listen and learn—and that’s shaped everything I do, from podcasting to product management to parenting. I’m naturally curious and always seeking truth, which means I’m not afraid to ask deeper questions or explore perspectives that challenge the norm.
With Entry Level Mom, I’ve built a space where honest, layered conversations can unfold—ones that make people feel seen and less alone.
I specialize in turning life’s messiest, most human moments into meaningful stories, whether it’s through a podcast episode, a children’s book, or a product that improves women’s health.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect people and ideas in a way that sparks insight and growth. I’m most proud of creating a platform rooted in curiosity, compassion, and a deep desire to understand the world and the people in it.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
My most important lesson has been to trust myself, forgive myself for mistakes, and to keep moving forward. For some reason the quote “keep on keepin on” by Joe Dirt comes to mind. Haha!
Interestingly, I can connect the dots looking back but not forward. For now I simply trust the magic and follow the fun, and it’s led be down a wonderful path.
