Today we’d like to introduce you to Autumn Paige.
Hi Autumn, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my Journey at the age of five, originally from New York my father had me modeling for companies he was styling for. I then ended up in Cleveland, Ohio spending most of my life there, through a couple of trials and tribulations it never stopped me from continuing in my love for art. I began singing in my church choir around the age of 10 which brought me so much joy. Not only did I flourish in the choir I also took up theater and played many different roles from stage management to costume design and singing solos in some productions. I continued modeling and working with many brands in Cleveland. By the age of 17, I was doing so much on top of school my family ended up making a move to Texas.
I finished high school and took in some college until Covid hit… I then realized I wasn’t in my purpose and wanted to really pursue music and all of the other talents I had a deep passion for. I took my talents to Houston and finally hopped into the booth. I was too excited to explore my capabilities. I finally decided it was time for the big move, 1300 miles away there I was in the big city of Los Angeles chasing the dreams I always dreamt of. I was in studios my favorite artist recorded in, working with producers who produced some of my favorite songs. I am now ready to show the world all the magic I’ve been working on and to talk about the growth this long journey has given me the capability to put into my new upcoming music.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For the most part, everything has been smooth however, one thing that really impacted me a lot was being hit by a car walking through my high school parking lot when I was 16. I completely fractured some bones in my body and could barely walk. It made me realize how much I truly wanted to be in my art and how I wouldn’t let it stop me. I now work out and dance and still model like nothing happened… I could go on and on about the bad stuff but there’s so much more light in my life than the bad.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My main focus is music mainly. I’ve been working on my craft and bringing the best version for the world to hear. I want everyone to feel they can relate to my words and feel comfort in what I have to say. I want people to know they aren’t the only ones going through whatever they are going through. If I could, I’d give the world a huge hug. I not only do music though I also act and model as well. I’ve been in a couple of videos you’ve probably seen and worked with a few brands you’ve probably worn but I’ve been working on expanding into bigger things. I’m most proud of the love I’ve poured into all my art and that it shows. If you haven’t noticed by now my green hair stands out quite a bit from everyone else and I hope my music and my art does the same but I’ll let the world judge that. I’ve chosen green as my color because it’s my absolute favorite color it makes me feel so good and also I’m Irish and my birthday the day after st Patrick’s day so how could I not think green is great.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Honorability is big for me to stay true to yourself. Your goals, your love, your passion. Don’t let anyone clog your own thoughts and joy. You are your true authentic self and you should never let anyone or anything deter you from being you.
