Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Russo.
Anna, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
When I was 11 years old, I knew already where I would want it to be in life, and I had a very clear vision about my future. You have to know, back then, I still lived in Germany and have never been to America my whole entire life.
I was gifted to be very intuitive, and I would have these visions that come up here in there that showed me crystal clear my future.
That being said, I was never scared to go for it, and I was always willing to risk it all in order to get where I want to be in this world. My mission is to be an inspiration and creating my own little milestones. We are here to learn, to make mistakes, to fail, to get up and to spread love and light, to become the best versions of ourselves, not only in our lives, but other people.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No No No! Not smooth at all, but I would say that, without these obstacles and the challenges that I faced since I was two years old, I would not be the person that I am today.
With two, I almost died due to a very bad infection. With eight I lost my mom due to cancer. In my adult life, I decided to move away from home to focus on myself and challenge myself to become the vision that I always had for myself. On this journey of self, I got in contact with many people, but not all of them had good intentions
From fraudulent business partners to wrong, romantic partnerships I had experienced a big range of emotions that I was able to learn from.
I love to reflect and analyze myself, and being far away from my family makes me appreciate everything ten times more.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I come from the field of beauty. I am a multi-award-winning international Hair and Makeup Artist. I worked all over Europe for Film protection for the production of runway shows and many celebrities.
I wrote for many beauty magazines and have been on the jury for the International Makeup Award.
It was always a dream to try myself out in the Mecca of film productions – Hollywood!
On this journey, I discovered myself even more, but on the talent site.
Now I get booked to be in front and behind the camera.
Sometimes, I am the face of a brand, I’m doing somebody else’s hair and make-up, and other times, I work on the content for my YouTube channel and social media, and on other days, I work on Film and TV concepts with my girlfriends that are in the same field as me. It’s a team effort and you certainly can’t do everything just by yourself.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
I really want to highlight something that I know a lot of people in the creative field struggle with. On one side, we want to feel taken serious by others with the things that we do. And as a creative and artist, I personally always had a hard time specializing on only the one thing.
I want to encourage everybody with multiple talents, skills, and passions…
You can, and you should do it all.
There shouldn’t be any limits and especially should you never care about what other people say or think.
It’s your life, it’s your purpose, and you are on a mission; never forget that.
