Today we’d like to introduce you to Amir Yass
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m a podcaster and influencer and producer and TV personality. I’ve got over 100 million views on TikTok and had a viral sound with over 500 million views.
A little bit about me: Amir Yass is a digital creator and LGBTQ activist. As host of various podcast through the years, Amir continues his work tackling the big topics while interviewing some of Bravo TV’s brightest reality stars and Hollywood’s most well knows names. Today, Amir lives out his authentic, unapologetic self. Through candor and humor, Amir paints how standing up for equality of all facets is how we bring about change. Working on a fabulous docu series about gay animals and homosexuality in nature he hopes to show that being gay is perfectly natural! Working on a scripted show about his life as a queer Muslim stand up comedian will be on TV hopefully very soon so keep your eyes peeled. Amir hopes to inspire other queer Muslims to come out and be their most authentic selves while thriving in this world that needs more sparkle.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely NOT been a smooth road but I don’t regret the way it came to be because it made me who I am. You get diamonds from pressure not ease! Coming from a conservative Muslim household it was not always easy to be your most authentic self. I’m so grateful that I came out and can be a beacon of hope for other queer Muslim children who want to be their most authentic selves. Being a closet is nowhere for someone to live and thrive. Working in Hollywood and being shot down multiple times to have tv projects made but now I’ve created my own production company and I’m doing it my way my style and couldn’t be happier. Thanks to TikTok for helping me create a community that I’m so proud of!

I’m a stand up comedian and TV producer and content creator. I specialize in authenticity and being yourself on the internet while making others laugh. I’m known for my hundreds of podcast interviews and the fact that I’ve interviewed over 600 people on my Instagram and 3 different podcasts I’ve had. I’m most proud of coming out and continuing to create safe spaces for other queer creators. What sets me apart is my ability to always be myself to a fault and make people laugh without ever stepping on any group or any person.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I’ve lived in the Middle East and Bali Indonesia and visited over 30 countries. I speak 3 languages fluently: Spanish, Farsi and of course English.
