Life and Work with Vania Zuñiga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vania Zuñiga.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started as an image consultant and personal shopper in my country, I created my fan page on Facebook and from time to time I posted some outfits and how to style it, then I created my Instagram and I tried to make it more personal, taking photos with my own style and people started to like my photos and I realized that this is what I had to do, so I started looking for what defined what I was doing and was “fashion blogger” since then I love what I do and finally I can say that this is just the beginning.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I think if you want to do something that you know you’re good at, there’s nothing that can’t stop you. I remember that when I started doing this I didn’t have a stable home, so all my clothes were in different houses, I didn’t have a good phone so the quality of my pictures was really poor, besides my family didn’t support me, right now they see that brands give me clothes, they understand something more or less what I do, but I still do not understand why I have so many clothes…

Please tell us about Black Diary.
I am full-time blogger and from time to time, I’m still acting and singing.

What I can say about Black Diary is that I wanted to do something unique, original and real, I tried that every outfit I do has a bit of history and meaning and what makes me happy is that the brands appreciate my work and they can see what I’m trying to reflect and something that I don’t regret at all it’s my website was made by myself with my own music, another thing that I love doing with my boy is music.

What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
There’s a lot of things to learn, if you are someone that doesn’t have a support, don’t feel bad because not all of us were born glorious to enjoy the wonders of life at 100% , but if you want something, you want it so much that it becomes a reality, just keep in mind that many times you will think that you have reached the goal when you will only be at the tip of the iceberg, that’s where you can’t lose your mind and continue without surrendering.
