Today we’d like to introduce you to Shivani Raina.
Shivani, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Fashion has been interwoven in my fabric since childhood. From humble beginnings to realizing a dream, the fashion ethic in me has grown leaps and bounds, much like the aging of a red wine. This journey has been a great learning lesson which I wouldn’t trade for anything at all. Having graduated in Political Science, I always had a keen desire and gravitation towards fashion, even if it meant giving up on the line of work I had ventured into initially. After a brief stint in flying around the world as cabin crew, I took the bold decision to move to the U.S. and eventually made my way to L.A., a decision which has been pivotal to my success as a fashion blogger.
Has it been a smooth road?
Life is always a journey of ups and downs and mine definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. My biggest challenge was venturing into the unknown. I had to convince my family to believe in my aspirations to be a fashion blogger and icon and give up on everything else I had worked towards in my career. My advice to other young women would be to believe in yourself and your abilities and let that confidence reflect in your work. Always give a 100% percent and work every day towards the vision you have in mind.

I am a fashion blogger and my prime focus is Instagram based advertising for brands and businesses. I am most proud of the inspiration and advice I give to the younger generation about hair, makeup, and fashion. What sets me apart from others is my fierce dedication and desire to succeed and work towards my ultimate goal of one day creating my own fashion brand and nurture woman empowerment.
