Today we’d like to introduce you to Princess Haynes.
Hi Princess, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Every since I was a child I always told it like it was some people looked at that as messy but I just am not good at telling a lie or hiding my feelings so I did neither. I went through a lot as a child which is why I am the strong woman I am today I decided to not be a victim of my past but a survivor for my future.
On top of what I went through as a child, I got pregnant at age 15 and had my first child by 16 years old. I didn’t let that stop me it motivated me because I had someone else life in my hands that didn’t ask to be in this world. I left home a week after graduation moving to Atlanta to start life and better my life. Now I am a hard-working mother of two and decided it’s time to invest in me something I really wanted to do which is to start a Real Life Real Talk Real Situation website and podcast. I built my website and started my show called From The Bottom To The Top. The name came from my life story knowing that I started at the bottom and working my way to the top. The show airs on Roku every Thursday on the TST Filmworks channel. It’s about me sitting down with guests and hearing their life stories to motivate and inspire others to keep going strong rather than give up. I also have a show on 2hotradio on Wednesday where I’m just speaking the real. My goal is to continue to build the brand hopefully I’ll get sponsors and financial help but right now, I’m doing it all on my own because I got to do what I need to do to make my dreams come true.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing in life has been easy from me I really came from nothing meaning I lived the struggle and still do but I make sure to handle responsibilities then I put my extra into my business needs.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work a 6/4 which pays for everything. I market and sale for Microsoft through a third-party company. I’ve been working since I was 12 because I came up so poor and wanted to be able to get myself more things so I wouldn’t continue to get picked on. I’ve always been a go-getter and don’t believe in depending on anyone else.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
I learned that I can’t let what others stop me from what I want in life that I have to keep moving forward no matter who don’t like it or support it. I also learned not to trust people who say they have a business or do real business because everyone can’t be trusted. I’ve been scammed by random people but family as well.
