Hi Erica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
15 + years and counting, I got married to my King had two beautiful and miracle kids. A son who was stillborn who’s a healthy 10-year-old growing actor/model and a 2-year-old daughter who took us 4 years to conceive. My focus then became on my amazing family, I put my writing skills on hold. In 2019, the world was hit with a devastating pandemic Covid-19 which taught me to stand still, self-care matters, it’s time to get back to me and my happiness started back again for writing a book called “TWISTED SOUL”, “When the Queen finds her King thru a Twisted Romance”.
“TWISTED SOUL” is a book about a young woman name Queen, who reconnects with a long-lost family member while hiding from an obsessed stalker. Queen faces the consequences of crossing a fine line between love, lust and deceit. She finds herself twisted in this intoxicating forbidden love. Queen soon realizes that playing with fire burns everyone who are closest to the flame. Available on Amazon.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Greatness doesn’t run smoothly, I would describe the struggle as being beautiful. From writer’s block, tired nights, looking for the right editor, book cover, etc. I’m learning a lot but prayer and Faith is what is keeping me going.

Erica Soul is a writer born and raised in Richmond, California and is currently residing in Los Angeles, California. She is a wife and a mother to two amazing kids a son and a daughter. At the age of ten years old, Erica was writing poems and reciting them at funerals and birthday parties. In 2019 Erica became a film producer and wrote on the movie “The Broken Rose” A 12-time award-winning film about Human Trafficking streaming on Amazon Prime Video and UrbanflixTV. I am most proud of the fact that I DO NOT give up. No matter how long it takes me, I am not going to quit because failure is not an option, failure is never an option. What sets me apart from the others is that I am a Leader.
Any big plans?
My plans for the future are to work on “TWISTED SOUL” Part II and to continue writing bestsellers. My goal is to make “TWISTED SOUL” into a movie.
