Danielle, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Oh goodness, well right now I would say a pretty typical day starts at about 4am when my two little pups wake me up to go outside and then again at 5 for their breakfast. I usually try to get to the gym and do a quick workout before I get ready for the work day. I typically see clients 9-5 but you may catch me jumping on the BioCharger or our Pulse stack at Ascent during my lunch or if I have a cancellation. After work I come home to feed my dogs and take them out, eat dinner and try and catch up on emails or work items I didn’t do during my lunch. I try to end my day back at the gym finishing off whatever I didn’t do in the morning and wrapping up in the sauna. Sometimes my days are very different but I would say at the moment this is the most common!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Of course! So my name is Danielle Palmer, also known as The Frequency Therapist. I have been working in the realm of Frequency healing for the last 15 years and have trained with the creators of various frequency modalities including SCENAR, Biomodulator, FSM and studied Energy Medicine and Bioresonance. I started in this field by working with a device called SCENAR. For me this was a pivotal moment both personally and professionally. At the time I got introduced to it I had daily tension type headaches from a car accident I had been in about 3 years prior. I had chronic pain in my knees from a young age and often felt like I was about 80 years old getting out of bed daily. After one session of SCENAR my headaches started to dissipate and I could move my neck more than I had in years. When I saw what this device did for me I decided to get trained and after 7 years in a private practice I decided to venture out on my own and went to Europe to redo all of my training with the only surviving inventor of SCENAR Dr. Alexander Revenko. From there I went down many rabbit holes in the world of frequency healing and here we are 15 years later, still doing what I love and loving helping people.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
You know as far as work goes I really have to thank my friend and colleague Heather Hiniker, CEO of Ascent Adaptation in Costa Mesa. When we first connected I feel like I was still unsure of myself, I was always deflecting compliments from clients and was not comfortable being called an “expert.” I am definitely a lifelong learner so I still think I have room to grow but I feel like she really helped me step into my own and grow so much over the last few years. I can confidently say that I would not be the person I am today without her influence for sure.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
I honestly think that you are never truly successful unless you have suffered. Especially in the realm of wellness, I find the best practitioners have their own healing journeys. You don’t truly understand where a client is coming from or have the empathy necessary to really serve them if you haven’t experienced something yourself. I also truly believe that you cannot be truly grateful for your success if you don’t understand the opposite. I am so grateful for all the years of hard work, long hours, working 2-3 jobs etc because it taught me to be resilient and I think in business that is one of your best tools. Things come up and you need to pivot, you need to get creative and that resilience is an incredible asset.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of me is the real me. I don’t put on any type of a persona as “The Frequency Therapist.” I genuinely love what I do and am so passionate about everything I talk about in the realm of wellness and health. I do drive some of my friends crazy because I don’t shut off BUT I feel like when you love what you do it really just is who you are. I will never recommend something I don’t fully believe in and I am the absolute worst at faking. It just feels gross to me and I would rather have integrity and be truthful than ever get a profit for selling something or recommending something I don’t align with.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and I truly do feel that I am in my field for a reason. I know that I am on the path that I am meant to be on and I am so incredibly thankful for the gifts I get to share with my clients. I am definitely doing what I was born to do because even though some of my decisions in life didn’t make any logical sense at the time, I trusted my gut and it led me exactly where I needed to go. I’ve learned amazing lessons because of it and all of the seemingly bad things in life have been my greatest gifts. So yes, I think I was definitely born to do what I am doing…especially since usually I do the opposite of what I am told to do!
