Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started off in the food industry, as a general contractor. I was burned out from working in construction, and decided to fulfill a dream my father had shared with me when I was teenager. Unfortunately, my father passed away from diet related issues when I was in my early 20’s , so he never got to see me opened up his vision. In honor of my pops, I opened up the The Sammiche Shoppe, back in 2018.
We opened up a year prior to Covid and established ourselves as the deli withe the healthier options, because we don’t add salt and grease to our foods, and we air fry.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
After establishing ourselves as the place to go with great tasting sandwiches, thats air fried, we had to overcome the current economic trends from inflation, people not wanting to work since covid, and major construction in our area.
It’s been a hard sale, for people who might steal want to eat the fast-food alternatives, at a lower cost point, as well. We strive to set our self apart.
We built The Sammiche Shoppe to be the alternative to fast food, in a community thats in need of healthier options, so we fight every day to be the answer to our community, as well as the people who work for us, but I can honestly say, we have seen some slow days, lately..

We are an urban deli, that specialize in soups, salads, smoothies, and sandwiches. We air fry our food, offering our customers, healthier options that taste great.
People who taste our food, constantly tell us how they can feel / taste the difference in what we offer. The customer service we specialize in to make sure each customer feels at home, is what a Sammiche is all about, real comfort food.
I am proud that we offer, healthier alternatives, without the addition of salt and grease.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
I would say my dad, for giving me the idea. My employees, as well as my clients are the most important part of what we do… I love when our customers give us reviews, and talk about how our food, helps them, live an more active life.
