Hi Victor, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It all started in 2020 during covid when my 9-5 was in limbo not sure If we’d open anytime soon or what will happen next. Even though my 9-5 was still paying me I couldn’t count on it 100% especially with everything that was going on. I always had a passion for detailing cars because at the age of 9 I’d go with my uncle to wash cars. And being able to see and sit in cars I’d only see in hot wheels or magazines was an amazing feeling especially seeing the before and afters. So I decided to give it a shot during the madness and start with the basics and see where it would take me and after a year I started to learn more about the business from tools, chemicals and even towels. So I upgraded certain machinery that’ll make work easier. And to be where I’m at today it took blood, sweat and tears but it has taught me so much down the road like marketing, editing videos and pictures, edit a website from scratch, even meeting people I’d only see on t.v and social media. I still continue to learn on how to upgrade my business from new stuff that comes out like tools, chemicals, accessories and social media. But the two most important ones are doing an amazing job leaving amazing results and customer service because I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without my amazing clients and there continued trust on me and my team on detailing their cars. And now my business has been securing me and my mom, this is also one of my other reasons I started my business I didn’t want to see my mom working a 9-5. I didn’t grow up with money so it was all a risk for me but a huge thank you to my parents on believing in me and supporting me. To end it off don’t be scared on following your dreams because, “It’s better to live with I tried and I made it to what would’ve happened if I tried”.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like every business I’ve had bumps on the road from not having enough work to survive from, going days or sometimes weeks of no work thinking this will never work out. So I continued working my 9-5 because I wasn’t having any good income come in from my business. But just 2 years ago I decided to go full time and give it all I got to my business and till this day I don’t regret it.
