Inspiring Conversations with Solei of The Juice Lab LA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Solei.

Hi Solei , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
The Juice Lab LA really began as a simple idea — make juice that not only tastes good but makes people feel even better. Since college, I’ve always been into wellness — doing hot yoga, buying juices from Erewhon, and constantly chasing the next trending wellness product. That lifestyle shaped how I saw health, energy, and what it means to feel good in your body.

Coming back from San Francisco on my 29th birthday, I turned to my husband during the drive and said, “I really want to get into business — something rooted in wellness — and somehow incorporate juicing into it.” That moment stuck. A few weeks later, I started experimenting in my kitchen — testing recipes, bottling samples, and handing them out to friends and family.

The feedback was immediate: people loved it. Not just the taste, but how it made them feel. That’s where our slogan came from: ‘Cold pressed juice that’s good for the soul.’ I realized this could be more than just juice — it could be a brand that represents wellness, culture, and creativity in LA.

From there, I built the brand from the ground up, launching with three signature flavors: Malibu Sunrise, Watermelon Sunrise, and Super Greens. Every touchpoint — from the design to the delivery — reflects the energy and aesthetic of LA wellness culture.

Today, The Juice Lab LA is growing fast. We’re more than a juice company — we’re a lifestyle brand with a mission to make wellness taste and look good. And this is still just the beginning.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not — but every challenge has taught me something.

Starting a business, especially in wellness and food, is no joke. In the beginning, there was a lot of trial and error — from sourcing fresh ingredients to finding the right bottles and labels that matched the vibe I wanted to create. I didn’t come from a background in manufacturing or logistics, so figuring out how to scale, stay consistent, and meet demand as it started to grow was a huge learning curve..

Also, being a small business in a city as saturated and competitive as Los Angeles means you’re constantly needing to evolve. I’ve had to learn to pivot quickly, trust my gut, and stay true to my core — quality, aesthetic, and soul — even when things got overwhelming.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
