Hi Sergio, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Did you know that the cleaning industry used to be underestimated for a long time? As many entrepreneurs, I started seeking the American Dream, looking for a better life. Being a janitor not only taught me how to clean but also opened a new perspective about the industry.
For a long time, I didn’t realize what I had in front of me, I was walking with a map that didn’t have an “X” until I decided to make a change and go for it.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Finding the “X” has not been as easy as it seems; having many ideas at the beginning made understanding my purpose difficult. It wasn’t until I got a better understanding of where I stood that I saw the bigger picture of what I could accomplish.
Then is when I started to take a stand as an influencer in the cleaning industry which hasn’t been an easy road, but to rise the standards of this industry in a personal way has helped me to send and communicate a message. In which I feel proud to share that we are opening up a way for many Latinos that want to grow professional and personally in the United States.
I think one of the main reasons why Es My Cleaning business has grown is due to the support it receives. Most people see how businesses grow and how actors become famous but don’t always know what goes on behind the scenes. One of the most important things that has helped me grow not only as an entrepreneur but also as a person is having people that encourage and inspire me by sharing ideas and support; one of these persons that has been key in my journey is my wife… Being the most important person along the way, she has shown me that we are a team, always being by my side no matter the risk; I feel fortunate knowing I can always count on her.

When Covid-19 began, we saw coming not only an immense challenge but also an opportunity in the cleaning industry; where as expected, many companies were not prepared to handle this change leaving them out of the game, but to those companies that were able to see the signs and realize that with this crisis came the need for a service that nowadays is indispensable such as Disinfecting Cleaning Services.
