Inspiring Conversations with Sari Hoban, PA-C of Go See Sari

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sari Hoban, PA-C.

Sari Hoban, PA-C

Hi Sari, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I started my career in medicine over a decade ago, I never expected it would lead me to aesthetics. My journey began in the world of oncology, where I worked with blood cancer patients at USC Hospital shortly after graduating from Cornell’s medical program. While I formed deep connections with my patients, they were very ill, and I didn’t have the stamina for the heartache of repeated loss. I knew I wanted to make an impact in medicine, but I needed to find a space to channel my skills in a way that felt sustainable.

So, I pivoted into the transformative aspect of breast reconstructive surgery with breast cancer patients. While working with a leading plastic reconstructive surgeon I learned about the power of aesthetic medicine and fell in love. I had found my career path and my passion! This unique niche of medicine combines beauty, science, and attention to detail — all of which could be complemented by having deep relationships with patients.

From that moment on, I sought out every training imaginable, studied on nights and weekends, and dedicated myself to mastering my craft. Nearly a decade later, I am so proud of the work I do and the relationships I have built. I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My path into medicine has been anything but conventional, but every challenge has shaped me into the provider I am today. Unlike many in medicine, I was not one of those children who grew up knowing they wanted to become a doctor. For me, it was trial and error in my adult life. My early aspirations led me to business administration at USC. After graduating, I had a brief stint in the financial world. It was not until I was deeply impacted by a family illness that I felt the pull towards medicine. In my mid-twenties, I made the life-changing decision to go back to school and pursue a career in medicine.

Medical training is not for the faint of heart, especially for someone who is a little older and has already been in the workforce. It tested my endurance, resilience, and my desire for this career path. I encountered an environment built on traditional hierarchies, where collaboration wasn’t always encouraged, and I saw women not willing to support other women. Instead of discouraging me, these combined experiences empowered me to create something of my own. I wanted a space where patients, providers, and employees feel valued, supported, and inspired.

Looking back, it is amazing to see that every experience and every twist and turn actually laid the framework for my career. Today, I am so proud of what we have created at Go See Sari. We have a practice that empowers our patients to feel their best and our team to feel heard and seen.

Reflecting on this journey is a powerful reminder of how far I’ve come. Thank you for this opportunity to share my story!

As you know, we’re big fans of Go See Sari . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Go See Sari is a premier medical aesthetics practice specializing in non-surgical cosmetic treatments, including dermal fillers, neuromodulators like Botox/Dysport, biostimulators, microneedling, and peels.

In a city like Los Angeles, and especially Beverly Hills, aesthetic practices are seemingly on every corner. What truly sets us apart? It is our commitment to empowering our patients and helping them feel confident in their own skin. We do this through our three founding principles: evidence-based treatments, education, and natural-looking results.

As patients entrust us with their care, we believe it is essential to lead with these values. We stay at the forefront of medical aesthetics, performing only the most up-to-date, safest, and researched treatments while educating patients on facial aging, treatments, and the rationale behind our approach. These core values allow us to perform the most natural work possible because we honor the patient’s natural anatomy and create a refreshed version of themselves. We treat the full face holistically, rather than focusing on a single area.

What makes Go See Sari special is the experience we offer. Our patients describe us as sophisticated yet down-to-earth, and that balance is at the heart of our boutique, concierge-style practice. We make every patient feel like family, ensuring they leave not just looking great but feeling empowered and understood.

We are so proud of what we’ve built and would love to welcome you to the Go See Sari family.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Going to Hawaii with my family. I am one of four kids and am lucky to have such a close knit family.
