Today we’d like to introduce you to Rod Busby.
Hi Rod, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
After years working as a private trainer, I moved into the area and saw the same problems existed. People were struggling with working out on their own, lack of motivation, and trying unsustainable fad diets, pills, and shakes.
I created XplosiveFit by inviting the community to take Free workouts in my backyard. We quickly grew a following that led us to 6 months later open our official location in West Hills.
We currently serve 300 clients, and 75 kids martial arts students.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest struggle we faced was during the pandemic. Overnight, we were forced to close a business that relies on in-person instruction and accountability.
We overnight launched a remote program to serve our clients a better program that delivered nutritional and accountability to all our members during these challenging times.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are known as a transformation & coaching program. We don’t just change bodies; we change lives.
What sets us apart is customizing every client’s fitness, nutrition, and accountability by providing a personal coach to help them achieve their fitness and health goals.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
We define success by how many lives we’ve changed and our success rate in doing so.
Over the last 10 years, we’ve transformed 1200 clients with a 91% success rate.
