Hi Reno, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m Reno, the founder of Reno’s Roofing. I started this business after nearly 15 years of selling roofs and helping other companies grow, I knew it was time to build something of my own with a focus on quality, integrity, and taking care of both customers and workers. I chose this area because I believe in being close to the community I serve. We offer top-notch roofing with high pay, strong safety standards, and real accountability.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges I faced was building a company from the ground up in an industry where trust is hard to earn and easy to lose. I had to overcome betrayal, financial risk, and intense stress—especially in the early years. Finding and retaining the right team was also incredibly difficult, as many skilled workers were already employed elsewhere and hesitant to take a chance on something new. But through persistence, high standards, and a clear vision, I built a business I’m proud of and one that supports many families today.
