Today we’d like to introduce you to Olha.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We moved to LA from Ukraine two and a half years ago and started everything from scratch. Today, we have four kids and a business in one of the most competitive niches—video production. I can’t say we’ve achieved absolute success just yet, but we’re definitely moving in that direction.
What sets us apart from other production companies is our experience in building a business from the ground up. It doesn’t matter which country it was built in—the principles of entrepreneurship and social media work are universal. If we were able to build a company in Ukraine with nearly a million dollars in revenue, we are confident we can do the same in LA.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Along the way, we’ve faced many challenges — from our baby undergoing heart surgery at just 13 days old, to moments when we literally had no money to pay for rent. But thanks to the personal brand we had already built on social media, we kept getting orders and were able to keep moving forward.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a husband-and-wife team running a video production company based in Los Angeles, originally from Ukraine. What we do goes far beyond simply filming videos — we help brands and entrepreneurs tell powerful, authentic stories that move people and grow businesses. We specialize in full-cycle video production: from concept development and scriptwriting to filming, editing, sound design, and final delivery — all tailored to social media and digital platforms.
What sets us apart is not just our creativity and technical skill, but our journey. We started over from scratch in a new country with four kids and a dream — and we brought with us the mindset of resilience, entrepreneurship, and deep understanding of how content drives results.
Back in Ukraine, we built a successful company with close to a million dollars in revenue. That experience taught us how to combine creativity with business strategy. Here in LA, we’ve applied those same principles — and our background in storytelling, social media growth, and business-building has become our biggest strength.
We’re most proud of the trust our clients place in us and the fact that many of them come back again and again — not just for videos, but for guidance, strategy, and support. We don’t just create content — we become part of your brand’s journey.
If there’s one thing we’d want readers to know, it’s this: we know what it means to build something from nothing. And we bring that same energy, dedication, and passion into every project we touch.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck has definitely played a role in our journey — both the good and the bad. But we’ve learned that it’s not really about what happens to you, it’s about how you respond.
We’ve faced some incredibly tough moments: immigrating to the U.S. with four kids and starting completely from scratch, almost losing our newborn son who had heart surgery at just 13 days old, and even struggling at times to afford basic things like rent. You could call that bad luck — but those experiences built our resilience, sharpened our focus, and reminded us of what really matters.
At the same time, we’ve had moments of good luck too — like already having a personal brand on social media that kept bringing in clients when we needed it most. But even that “luck” was the result of years of hard work, showing up online consistently, and building trust with our audience long before we needed it.
So, yes, luck has played a part. But more than anything, it’s been about faith, perseverance, and showing up every day — no matter what. We believe that when you keep moving forward with a clear purpose, luck tends to find you.
