Today we’d like to introduce you to Lynette Toma.
Hi Lynette, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my journey when I was 18 and I began working with children with autism. I saw something in these children, that was so special to me. I loved my work with children and later became a speech therapist. I moved to San Diego from Michigan and worked in schools helping many children learn to communicate. At the age of 30, I was diagnosed with a chronic illness and hospitalized for 20 days. After refusing surgery, I left the hospital to heal myself and that’s just what I did. Healing through my pain and understanding my connection to my mind, body and soul. I later moved to LA, where I was introduced to Sound Bath.
I was amazed at how it made me feel. I went every week. I found myself more emotionally stable, able to speak my truth and more connected to myself.
A few years later, I decided to enroll in teacher training to facilitate sound baths.
Two years ago, I opened Pure Sound Bath in Redondo Beach! I’m so very proud of my work. I offer sound baths to adults and children. I’m loving my most creative expression of life!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a pretty smooth road for me. I stay connected and positive. I am not afraid to ask for help and I’m open to giving and receiving. I feel truly grateful for the support of my family, friends and community!

I opened Pure Sound Bath in 2021. It is a boutique studio in Redondo Beach. I offer group and private sound bath meditations for adults and children. I also offer sound bath teacher training. I am known for being of service to the community. I’m most proud of the community and the connections I’ve made. I want readers to know that everyone is welcome. I am here to help and offer spiritual guidance to those who need it.
