Inspiring Conversations with Lynette of Lynette Najar, Realtor – PAK Home Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lynette.

Hi Lynette, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Up until I was 14 years old, my parents, younger sister, and I lived in rented homes throughout various East LA neighborhoods. In 1995, my parents finally saved enough money for a down payment to purchase our very first home. As first-time homebuyers, they had no idea what the process entailed—and they had no one to ask for guidance either.

I remember clearly the stress and anxiety they experienced during the process. I witnessed it all, but at just 14, I didn’t understand what was happening or how to help. Eventually, we closed escrow on our very first home—one that I would later go on to purchase from my parents.

I was 22 years old when my parents hired a realtor to help with the sale of the house to me, but the experience wasn’t a positive one. He wasn’t very helpful, often asking us to sign documents without explanation. When we asked questions, he struggled to provide answers. Everything about the process felt off. I asked my parents to pause the transaction so I could do some research. That’s when I discovered that, in our case, we didn’t actually need a realtor. We were able to complete the sale through the bank and escrow company alone, saving my parents a significant amount of money in the process.

After going through that experience, I knew we couldn’t be the only family who felt unsupported and uninformed while making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. That’s what inspired me to get my real estate salesperson license in 2004.

Today, I believe in helping my clients make smart, informed decisions—but I also believe in the importance of tuning into what feels right in your heart. A home should meet your practical needs, yes—but it should also align with your energy and values. My process is co-creative, grounded in honest communication and mutual trust. I walk alongside my clients every step of the way, making sure they feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout their journey. By offering care, transparency, and the benefit of my experience, I strive to create a soul-centered and stress-free path to homeownership.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road hasn’t always been smooth! In 2007 the real estate market crashed and it became very challenging for people to buy and sell homes. Many homeowners attempted to sell their homes but there were just too many homes on the market and not enough buyers and so many people lost their homes. It was really sad to see this happen. The market in 2007-2009 was the complete opposite of what it was when I was first licensed in 2004 and to stay in business I had to shift gears. I learned Hard Money lending (special financing), assisted an appraiser with value evaluations, managed clean out projects for homes abandoned by homeowners and sold real estate owned homes all over Southern California. Eventually, the special projects dwindled and there was only part-time work in the industry for me so I decided to return to school to finish my degree. I continued to work as much as I could in my industry while going to school at night.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At its core, my real estate business is rooted in integrity, trust, and intentional service. I work with past clients, friends, family, and the referrals they send my way—along with those who connect with me at open houses and social media. My business has grown organically, rooted in genuine connection and word-of-mouth, which speaks to the care and integrity I bring to every interaction.

I specialize in working with individuals and families looking to buy or sell homes, as well as investors and business owners. What sets me apart is the co-creative nature of my process—I don’t just facilitate transactions; I walk alongside my clients as we navigate one of the most meaningful decisions of their lives. Every step is grounded in open communication, trust, and deep respect for each person’s unique needs and vision.

I believe real estate should be approached with intention. Our homes carry energy, and the spaces we occupy affect how we feel, grow, and live. That’s why I prioritize aligning each transaction with my clients’ practical goals and also with their values and energetic well-being. This conscious approach allows me to create a supportive, stress-free, and empowering experience.

My brand is soul-centered, heart-led, and grounded in service. Whether you’re buying, selling, or investing, I’m here to offer thoughtful guidance, honest support, and a process that feels aligned from start to finish.
