Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle & Teresa Tucker.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Our story really began when we were just 15 and we’ve been together ever since! Teresa liked to sing and play piano, and Kyle—wanting to impress her—picked up the bass. Before long, Teresa learned guitar, and we started a band together.
We played all through college, where Teresa studied Marketing and Kyle attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Arizona. His internship through the school eventually brought us to Los Angeles—and it turned out to be the perfect place for us to grow both personally and professionally.
We moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to pursue studio production and our music. We started playing shows at local venues, and loved being part of the city’s vibrant scene.
Working with many local artists was a great way to become immersed in the music community.
We love Los Angeles—the energy, the culture, and the endless inspiration it provides. When we’re not in the studio you can usually find us hiking, kayaking, or relaxing at the beach and recharging.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like many entrepreneurs, we’ve faced our share of challenges along the way. One of the biggest has been continually evolving to meet the changing needs of creators in such a fast-paced industry.
When the pandemic hit, it was an especially tough time to keep the studio running—but it also pushed us to innovate. Implementing the best new tech and building systems that allow us to control everything remotely, from audio to video. Now, creators love that they can have the space entirely to themselves while still having access to professional-quality tools and support. It’s been a journey of constant adaptation, but every challenge has helped shape The Studio Venue into the flexible, creator-friendly space it is today.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In 2012 we founded The Studio Venue, a boutique recording studio in beautiful Burbank specializing in podcasting, voiceover, and music production.
When we opened The Studio Venue, we started out mainly recording music but over time it evolved from a music studio into a full creative production space. We now host podcasters, filmmakers, and content creators of all kinds, offering custom set options to match their style and vision.
Since then, we’ve added video and have hosted over 200 livestream concerts with musicians from all over the world. Our studio has also become a favorite for top podcasts like Collider – Ladies Night, which earned an honorable mention from The Webby Awards.
The Studio Venue has welcomed many well-known guests, including Oscar winner Mikey Madison, influencers Loren Gray, Jordan Howlett and more recently Arden Cho from K-Pop Demon Hunters!
Our Space has been in documentaries, indie films, featured in theaters nationwide for Noovie Interviews and in music videos for bands like Cherry Glazerr.
We are grateful to have worked with hundreds of musicians and content creators from L.A. and around the world, spanning every stage of development—from emerging artists to longtime legends. As artists ourselves, we’re passionate about supporting others on their creative journey and providing a welcoming space to create something they’re proud of.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
At the heart of it all, we’re creators too, so what matters most to us is creating a space where people feel inspired and supported with pro quality audio & video. So we’ve built The Studio Venue to be a place where guests feel completely at ease.
Whether it’s a first-time podcaster finding their voice or a seasoned musician chasing that perfect take, we love helping our clients bring their vision to life.
