Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Steele.
Hi Kyle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
FutureCare grew organically out of our founder Kyle Steele’s work at our sister company, Global Wave Integration, a firm focused on high-end residential design and technology. As homes became smarter and more intuitive, clients began asking a different kind of question. Not just how technology could enhance their lifestyle, but how it could help them quietly monitor their own well-being or the well-being of someone they loved.
At the same time, Kyle was navigating a very personal challenge. Around 2012, he was helping care for his aging grandmother and searching for a senior living option that felt safe, dignified, and high quality. What he found instead was a landscape dominated by clinical environments and reactive solutions that did not align with how people actually want to live.
That overlap between client curiosity and personal experience sparked the idea for FutureCare.
Rather than building a traditional health product, FutureCare was designed to work invisibly in the background of everyday life. We focused on ambient sensors, behavioral patterns, and meaningful insights that support caregivers without disrupting independence or design. The goal was never to replace human care, but to give families and professionals better awareness, earlier understanding, and peace of mind.
Today, FutureCare sits at the intersection of technology, wellness, and lifestyle. What started as a response to a personal and professional gap has grown into a platform that helps people age in place with dignity while giving caregivers the clarity and confidence they need to support them well.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a perfectly smooth road, but the challenges have shaped who we are today.
One of the biggest shifts we have navigated is the pace of change in technology. The arrival of tools like ChatGPT fundamentally changed the conversation around AI almost overnight. Suddenly, expectations shifted, possibilities expanded, and the bar for what “intelligent” systems should deliver moved much higher. Rather than seeing that as a disruption, we saw it as validation of where the industry was headed and an opportunity to rethink how intelligence, context, and insight could live within FutureCare.
Another ongoing challenge is staying ahead in a rapidly evolving IoT landscape. We are constantly researching and evaluating new devices, sensors, and hardware partners to ensure our platform remains relevant, flexible, and future-proof. Not every piece of technology is ready for real-world care environments, so discernment and restraint have been just as important as innovation.
Building something at the intersection of care, technology, and lifestyle also requires balance. We have had to be intentional about not chasing trends for the sake of novelty, and instead focus on solutions that are reliable, dignified, and truly useful for caregivers and families.
Ultimately, the road has required adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to evolve. Those challenges have pushed us to build a platform that is more thoughtful, more resilient, and better positioned for what care looks like moving forward.
We’ve been impressed with FutureCare Solutions Group, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
FutureCare is an invisible care platform designed to support aging in place with dignity, clarity, and ease. At its core, we help families and caregivers better understand what is happening in a home, not through cameras or microphones, but through thoughtful, privacy-first technology that blends into everyday life.
Our system is built around a modular set of sensors that track patterns related to movement, sleep, presence, and daily routines. Instead of alerting caregivers only when something goes wrong, we focus on identifying changes over time, which allows for earlier awareness and more informed support. The platform is scalable by design. Families can start small and expand as needs evolve, whether that means adding additional devices, monitoring multiple spaces, or supporting more than one individual.
One of the things that truly sets FutureCare apart is our background in custom integration and wellness technology through our sister company, Global Wave Integration. That experience shaped how we think about technology in the home. It should be reliable, beautifully integrated, and never feel intrusive. That is why we intentionally avoid microphones and video cameras, and instead prioritize ambient data that respects privacy while still delivering meaningful insight.
We are also proud of how accessible the platform is. Our pricing is structured to be flexible and approachable, making FutureCare viable for families, caregivers, and partners across different care settings without locking them into rigid or overly complex systems.
Brand-wise, what we are most proud of is the trust we build. FutureCare is not about surveillance or replacing human care. It is about supporting it. We want readers to know that everything we design is rooted in empathy, discretion, and long-term usefulness. Our goal is to make care feel calmer, smarter, and more human by letting technology do its work quietly in the background.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that often surprises people is how much restraint goes into building FutureCare.
From the outside, it might look like we are simply adding more technology to the home, but in reality, we spend a significant amount of time deciding what not to include. We intentionally avoid microphones, video cameras, and overly invasive tools, even when they might seem like the fastest way to gather data. That decision is rooted in respect for privacy, dignity, and trust, which we believe are essential in any care environment.
Another thing people may not realize is how deeply design-driven our approach is. Because of our background in custom integration and wellness technology, every device and experience is evaluated not just for performance, but for how it lives in a home and how it makes people feel. If something disrupts independence or creates anxiety, it does not belong in our ecosystem.
Ultimately, FutureCare is built with a long-term mindset. We are not chasing trends or quick wins. We are focused on building something quiet, reliable, and enduring. That intentional slowness and thoughtfulness is something many people do not expect until they work closely with us.
