Today we’d like to introduce you to John Medina.
Hi John, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a real estate investor, cash home buyer, house flipper, family man, and believe it or not, a former plumber. As a plumbing contractor for 21 years, I always had a passion for real estate.
In 2013, I decided to make buying and renovating houses his full-time job. Since then, I have been in the “house buying business” and have flipped over 70 houses to date.
My wife, Yvette (and business partner) started off in the salon industry over 25 years ago. When I started his home-buying business, Yvette decided to get involved and got her certification in interior design from the Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach.
She now leads the design team for all of John Medina Buy Houses projects, making every house look spectacular when they are put on the market.
We were both born and raised in San Pedro, California (near the Port of Los Angeles). We take an active part in our community as it is important for us to be honest with people. As I always say, “we believe in doing what we say they’re going to do, be fair to them, and leave people in better situations than when they found them!”
My goal is to set a different standard when it comes to looking to sell a home.
I and my team are always focused on providing people with a life-changing solution and ensuring a simple process along the way. I have always guided, my team to also be upfront, honest and caring. Regardless of someone’s situation, we offer an easy home sale on the seller’s terms.
Our team at John Medina Buys Houses continues to provide Los Angeles and now Orange County California communities with a different way to sell their homes, and at the highest price possible, especially when time is of the essence.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

I am the CEO of a growing real estate investment business based in San Pedro, we specialize in property wholesaling along with buying and flipping homes. I lead a team of 12 people from all my companies.
I take pride in doing the right thing and being upfront and honest even with doing business.
What do you think about luck?
For me luck does not play a role, luck to me is the fruit of one’s labor, and luck is the opportunities that your hard work presents to you.
My luck came to me after time and money and effort were invested into my life goals which were to make this business a reality the people I’ve been my mentors taught me to take advantage of the “Luck” that will soon come my way.
