Today we’d like to introduce you to Joanna Soto.
Hi Joanna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My passion for the beauty industry started when I was in high school. I used to go get my hair done all the time and I felt so at home in the salon environment. My passion for beauty has remained strong. I love learning new things. I used to specialize in hair but transitioned to lashes and permanent makeup. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for almost ten years. I am also a licensed nurse. I created Pixels because I wanted a space to represent who I am. I welcome all and love to provide excellent customer service. I blame that on my many years working in a restaurant as a teen.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been easy. My career choice wasn’t always supported by my family. Now that I finally believe in myself, I feel like anything is possible and I’m excited to see how far Pixels and I will go.

At Pixels, you will always receive the best customer service and experience. My goal is to make sure you are comfortable and ecstatic with your results. I started off doing permanent makeup. Specializing in Powder brows and lip blush tattoos. I also perform lash lifts, brow lamination, brow shaping, and henna brows. What sets me apart is my attention to detail. I would consider myself a perfectionist.
What makes you happy?
My suite makes me so happy. It is truly my happy place. I love being able to create in my own space and provide my version of excellent service. Happy clients make me happy. and of course my family. My two beautiful children Berlin 7, and Christopher James three years old in October.
