Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Tabiza.
Hi Jennifer, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
The path wasn’t linear, but it was always led by vision. What began as a career in optometry expanded into a multi-dimensional business journey that now spans healthcare, aesthetics, and technology.
The first evolution came with launching Eyecare & Aesthetics, a hybrid clinic that fused clinical optometry with aesthetic medicine; something that, at the time, very few were doing. Patients responded immediately to the integrated experience, and that success laid the foundation for Total Body Aesthetics, a longevity med spa offering cutting-edge treatments rooted in results, wellness, and beauty.
Alongside my patient-facing work, I co-founded Dr. Contact Lens, a health tech platform that allows optometrists to automate contact lens sales and compete with online retailers. It’s processed nearly $200 million in lens transactions and is currently in the acquisition process. That company taught me how to build scalable tech in a space that desperately needed innovation.
Seeing the opportunity in aesthetics for other eye care professionals, I launched my Aesthetic Consulting business to help optometrists expand into this high-growth field. I work hands-on with doctors across the country to design, launch, and grow their own med spas — from equipment selection to branding to operations. I also founded Techifeye, a national speaking series and education platform to modernize private practices and support doctors in becoming more profitable and aligned with the future of healthcare.
At every stage, I’ve focused on building solutions that challenge the status quo, businesses that meet real needs and create long-term value. Whether I’m scaling tech, transforming practices, or mentoring other providers, the through-line has always been the same: making things better, smarter, and more human.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not even close — but the friction is what shaped the breakthroughs.
Building Dr. Contact Lens took four years and three full rebuilds. We were coding something that didn’t exist yet: a seamless, automated platform that could integrate directly with medical records and function intuitively for both patients and doctors. In 2016, the tech just wasn’t where it is now, and we ran into challenge after challenge — development limitations, system incompatibility, user experience issues. There were moments we questioned if it was even possible. But we stayed the course, and ultimately created a product that filled a major gap in the industry.
Launching Eyecare & Aesthetics and Total Body Aesthetics came with a different set of challenges. At the time, combining eye care and aesthetics wasn’t common — especially in a part of Los Angeles that hadn’t seen anything like it. It required bold branding, unwavering belief, and the patience to educate a market that didn’t yet understand the vision. But people responded to the experience, and over time, it became clear that we were building something that redefined what care could look and feel like.
So no, the road wasn’t smooth. But every obstacle forced innovation. Every delay refined the model. And looking back, I wouldn’t change any of it.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Total Body Aesthetics is more than just a med spa — it’s a destination for transformation. We specialize in longevity and anti-aging, non-surgical body contouring, skin rejuvenation, and regenerative treatments that help clients look incredible, but more importantly, feel powerful in their bodies. Everything we do is results-driven, high-tech, and rooted in deep care.
What sets us apart is the blend of science, beauty, and frequency. We use some of the most advanced devices on the market, but we combine that with an aesthetic eye, patient education, and a brand that feels elevated and intentional from the moment you walk in. It’s not sterile. It’s not salesy. It’s soulful, modern, and designed to make people feel seen.
We’re known for delivering dramatic yet natural results, and for creating customized treatment plans that actually work. Clients come to us because they’re tired of cookie-cutter med spas that overpromise and under-deliver. We take the time to understand your body, your goals, and your energy — and we build from there.
What I’m most proud of is that Total Body Aesthetics doesn’t just follow trends. We lead with integrity. We built a luxury brand without gatekeeping — one that’s inclusive, empowering, and built to grow with our clients. We’ve helped countless people reclaim confidence, shift how they see themselves, and step into a new chapter — and that’s the legacy I care about most.
Whether you’re looking for body sculpting, skin solutions, or the kind of support that actually honors your whole self, we’re here to help you elevate. Not just your appearance — but your experience.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
There are a few ways to connect and collaborate, depending on what you’re looking for.
If you’re a client or patient, you can visit Total Body Aesthetics in Los Angeles for personalized body and skin treatments — we offer everything from advanced contouring to regenerative therapies, all customized to your goals.
If you’re a provider or entrepreneur, I offer private aesthetic consulting to help you launch, expand, or optimize your own med spa — especially if you’re in eyecare or medical aesthetics and want to step into this space strategically. I’ve helped doctors across the country grow into six- and seven-figure practices, and I love guiding others through that process.
If you’re in the tech or investment world, Dr. Contact Lens is in an exciting phase — we’re scaling rapidly and entering acquisition talks, and we’re always open to aligned strategic partnerships.
And finally, if you’re simply inspired by the mission, the easiest way to support is to share the work. Whether that’s booking a service, sending a referral, or helping spread the word about this new model of healthcare-meets-aesthetics-meets-tech — it all matters.
I’m building with people who think differently. So if that’s you — reach out.
