Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Yolas.
Hi Jasmine , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been drawn to creativity and storytelling. I actually started out just sharing my love for beauty and lifestyle online. It was never about building a career at first, it was simply fun and a way to connect with people. Over time, that passion grew into brand collaborations and a deeper understanding of the influencer space.
That experience opened the door for me to move into the strategy side of things. I worked in customer service leadership for a while, which taught me a lot about people, processes, and communication. Eventually, I was able to bring those skills together with my creative side and step fully into influencer marketing.
Now, I get to do the best of both worlds which is building and running influencer programs for brands while still creating content myself. It’s been such a full-circle journey, and I love that I get to help bridge the gap between brands and creators in a way that feels authentic.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Stepping into a new space like influencer marketing, I struggled with imposter syndrome wondering if I belonged or if I was “qualified enough” to build something from the ground up.
There were moments of burnout too, trying to balance being a creator and running programs behind the scenes. But those challenges pushed me to trust my voice, keep learning, and realize growth often comes from the uncomfortable moments.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about skinl0ve?
I specialize in influencer marketing and content creation, with a focus on connecting brands and creators in ways that feel genuine. What sets me apart is that I’ve lived on both sides. I’ve been the creator behind the camera and I’ve also built influencer programs from the ground up. That dual perspective helps me understand what creators need to thrive and what brands need to see results.
I’m most proud of building partnerships that go beyond one-off campaigns. I want both sides to feel like it’s a true collaboration, not just a transaction. Whether it’s developing creative briefs, negotiating partnerships, or guiding brand strategy, I always come back to authenticity and community.
At the heart of it, my “brand” is about helping people tell their stories in ways that resonate because when the connection is real, the impact lasts.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I think luck shows up when you’re willing to bet on yourself. For me, it’s been about trusting my instincts even when things felt uncertain or I wasn’t sure if I was “ready.”
Some doors opened because I took a chance, reached out, or said yes before I had it all figured out. Other times, what felt like “bad luck” pushed me to pivot and ultimately led me to better opportunities.
