Today we’d like to introduce you to Heidi Oliva and Clara Ortiz.
Hi Heidi, Clara, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Clara and I, Heidi, are best friends that use to work at a juice bar for almost 15 years. We love the industry and everything about it. We decided to open our own juice bar and have a healthier menu available to the community.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road. Our construction took longer than expected. We didn’t know much of the legal process and learned as we went. Doing all the paperwork was a challenge that we did together.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
It’s a juice/smoothie shop, with a variety of healthy and clean smoothies as well as delicious bowls. Our smoothies have clean ingredients that are good for our bodies. We carry sea moss( thats made in store), Maca and blue majik(blue Spirulina) which a lot of corporate /franchised smoothie places don’t carry . We care about our community and want to make sure we offer something for everyone’s liking.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Making sure we feed our bodies properly and as clean as possible.
