She Rises Studios is a transformative platform that was founded in July 2020 by Hanna Olivas and Adriana Luna amidst the challenges of the global pandemic. Recognizing the pressing need to support women worldwide, the organization emerged as the NEXT Global Women’s Network of Empowered Women Leaders. At its core, She Rises Studios is committed to inspiring, empowering, and educating women who find themselves in the most difficult and seemingly insurmountable circumstances.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Embarking on this journey has been incredibly rewarding, but it hasn’t been without its fair share of challenges. Among the hurdles we’ve encountered, expansion stands out as a significant one. Scaling up while maintaining the essence of our vision required careful navigation and strategic decision-making. Additionally, the process of finding the right team members posed a unique set of struggles. Assembling a cohesive team that shares our values and passion proved to be a complex task, demanding a thorough vetting process to ensure that each individual’s skills and ethos align seamlessly with our mission. Building this team, composed of the right people who resonate with our vision, has been a journey in itself, emphasizing the importance of synergy and unified purpose in every step we take toward achieving our goals.
We’ve been impressed with She Rises Studios, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
She Rises derived from us wanting to help not only ourselves grow and flourish but guide other women in doing the same. Mid-pandemic, a lot of women were losing their jobs and their homes, and we wanted them to know that they weren’t alone by creating a platform of support and opportunity for income for them. We really wanted to become a platform of motivation and inspiration to other women. Our mission at She Rises Studios is to inspire, empower, and educate all women who are facing the most impossible situations and teach them how to navigate through their own personal journeys with hope, perseverance, strength, education, and unstoppable fearlessness. We are educating and celebrating their growth. We believe the future is female and that we are better and stronger together. We had a lot of people tell us it wouldn’t succeed because we were in a pandemic, and we really didn’t have a background in media. The biggest challenge was definitely the pandemic because a lot of the things we wanted to do were meant to be done in person, and we had to really learn how to navigate virtually. We learned to build a team virtually and work with women virtually. Now, we work with women all over the world, and that has only expanded our reach and impact.
The most impactful part of all of this is seeing other women’s businesses grow and seeing other women who would have never stepped out and done the things that they’re doing now. We receive emails and phone calls just from women saying thank you for making them bestselling authors or really helping their business grow. Sometimes, it’s even more personal. We had a woman call and say thank you because before working with us, she was ready to give up, but in working with She Rises, her whole life has changed. I think seeing other women succeed and fulfill their dreams has been incredible.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, my interests were woven with the threads of creativity and expression. I held a genuine passion for singing and dancing, particularly in styles like ballet, tap, and jazz. Surprisingly, shyness never found a home within me; I embraced the stage and its spotlight with an open heart and fearless spirit. My journey has been colored by a light-hearted approach to life, infusing moments with laughter and joy. My signature curly hair often framed a big, welcoming smile that mirrored my enthusiasm for connecting with others and embracing the beauty of each experience.
