Today we’d like to introduce you to Domenick Nati.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I launched my company in 2006 and began a career as a Celebrity Publicist. I started off working in sports with athletes in the NBA, NFL, and NASCAR. I then moved on to working with recording artists and actors. Sadly, some of which have passed away such as Charlie Murphy and DMX.
In 2013 I began interviewing celebrities on FM radio including Bill Cosby and Ted Nugent. I was fired from the show after just two months due to my unsuitable topics and was offered a show again in 2016 by a new radio station Intellectual Radio. This is where The Domenick Nati Show began and my controversial interviews with Todd Chrisley, Gene Simmons, and Whoopi Goldberg were actually embraced by the viewers.
I still work in public relations everyday and offer my services to existing celebrities and aspiring entertainers, recording artists, and businesses. Additionally, The Domenick Nati Show is going strong in season five and a new celebrity interview can be seen and heard every week!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been countless obstacles along the way. I broke into an industry that had a lot of competition and more qualified contenders. I was willing to take my lumps and move forward when I often heard the word “no”. I was on a hunt for opportunity and when people told me no, I wouldn’t let it bother or offend me. I was looking for my break, not a breakdown. I got a shot working on a movie in 2005 called Talladega Nights with Will Ferrell. My job was driving a director named Judd Apatow to the set and back. “I’ll take it!”
After that, I had a seven year career working in Reality TV on shows like Deal or No Deal and Hell’s Kitchen. Today, I speak to young people looking to break into the entertainment industry and I give them my life motto, “Always fear regret more than rejection.”
I heard a lot of “no’s” in my career and don’t remember many of them. No one ever says, “tell me all the times someone wasn’t interested”, they only ask about the successes so why let rejection be on the front of your mind?
We’ve been impressed with Nati Celebrity Services, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Nati Celebrity Services is a full-service PR Firm that offers publicity campaigns for anyone, anything, or any brand that needs exposure. We come up with a focal point for the campaign and contact media outlets that grow awareness of your brand.
We even offer week-to-week payment options to make our clients more comfortable with their investments. We have contacts and news links in every major media outlet and love when we get the opportunity to work with new people and products.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
To be honest, all of my clients deserve the credit. I’ve been doing this for 15 years now and am always flattered when people contact me and say they were referred by someone or saw me in a news article. It never gets old and I really appreciate it!
