Hi Deise, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
First of all, I would like to give thanks and knowledge to my father because without him, I wouldn’t know and have what I have today. I got into the field of manufacturing shutters because of him, and I proudly continued his legacy and family business. I’m so grateful for my team, who are with me always on those long days and nights.

Home improvement is to create a better ambiance. We have shutters, rolling shades, blinds, and other window coverings to give you the esthetic look or that statement piece, I love shutters and arch panels on windows, it completes the room, in my opinion, as the TikTok audio says, “this is a work of art.”
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been smooth sailing but having a business is not hard but it’s not easy, you have to put in the work, the dedication, and hours in the beginning, especially in this type of work as time goes on it gets easier, you find your flow and from there you know what you have to do. I am a family person who loves to spend every moment with their loved ones, so any time that I can dedicate to them that doesn’t affect work is win in my book.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We are a manufacturing company that specializes in wood shutters, The type of wood we use is a100% basswood.
In our catalog, besides having shutters, we do have rolling shades, blinds, and zebra shades.
I think what might set us apart from the other companies is our custom work as we do a lot of arch shutters and raised panels, usually used for exterior or closet doors. We are also adding a new home décor section for our company that we haven’t announced, But we are excited to say that I hope to in the future with every purchase to be able to give them a Shutter Care package for each customer as a gift and also sell them to the public.
Every customer that I encounter or that order’s from us, I am very grateful for them, and I am thankful for them because without them, we wouldn’t be here.
We also have T-shirts, hats, and sweatshirts if anybody wants to buy some merch! Haha
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the San Fernando Valley and all of Los Angeles.
Actually, I love all the cities.
