Inspiring Conversations with Bre Michelle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bre Michelle.

Bre Michelle

Hi Bre, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I discovered personal development at a young age. Throughout my life, I’ve enjoyed setting personal goals, practicing various forms of self-care, and continuously challenging myself to improve in multiple areas of life. As I grew up, I liked going for walks, having beach days, spending hours at libraries and bookstores, and even creating homemade beauty treatments. I believe these experiences allowed me to spend quality time with myself and discover my genuine preferences. Not surprisingly, I still enjoy in these activities to this day.

However, it wasn’t until I enrolled in the cosmetology program during high school that I truly recognized my potential to help others on a similar journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Initially, I wanted to help people in feeling and looking their best, however I soon realized that the external would only go so far. It became obvious that while I could enhance external beauty, I couldn’t influence the inner transformation that truly defines a person. Ultimately, it’s what’s inside that matters the most. That’s when I realized I wanted to make a deeper impact, but I wasn’t sure exactly how to go about it at that point.

During college and throughout my 20s, I explored various personal development methods to keep growing personally. Along the way, I came to the realization that I could extend this journey to work with others. This path led me to hosting workshops and providing coaching services to fellow women. I aspired to create something that could genuinely facilitate transformation and empower women to recognize their worthiness and feel supported in pursuing their desires.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Yes and no. Continuing on this journey that began when I was very young felt like a natural path for me. I’ve always carried this deep inner knowing that, no matter what challenges life throws my way, I would be okay. I understood that as long as I took charge and showed up for myself, things would work out just fine.

However, when I started my business, it wasn’t as smooth as I had hoped. The people I set out to help weren’t as open to this inner work as I had anticipated. It was far simpler to provide services like lashes, waxing, or hairstyling to someone compared to introducing them to this inner work. This inner work not only addressed issues they may not have been ready to confront but also challenged them to take charge of their own growth and well-being.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Bre Michelle Coaching began as a way for me to provide coaching and support to women who were feeling overwhelmed, defeated, guilty, and ashamed in their lives. I am proud to support women on their journey to self-discovery and personal growth. My coaching program, Emerge, is designed to help women combine the inner work, outer work, and accountability for impactful transformation. These three elements come together to create a comprehensive approach to empowering women to become the best versions of themselves.

What sets my coaching apart from others is that it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution. I tailor my coaching to each individual client, addressing the specific challenges they are currently facing. My coaching empowers women to let go of guilt, shame, and the fear associated with prioritizing themselves. I encourage women to prioritize themselves, just as flight attendants advise passengers to put on their own oxygen masks before assisting others.

I firmly believe that when women prioritize themselves, they not only benefit personally but also become better for their families, friends, careers, businesses, and the world at large. My goal is to provide a starting point for women to shift their mindsets, embody their best selves, and go out into the world to achieve remarkable things.

What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future include continuing to offer one-on-one coaching for women and establishing a supportive community where women can access networking events, workshops, accountability, and valuable resources. Additionally, I’m expanding into corporate settings by providing mindfulness workshops for corporate teams. I’m genuinely thrilled to share the insights that have naturally developed within me and that I’ve acquired through years of education. I recognize the tremendous usefulness and need for this information, and I’m elated to have the opportunity to share it with others.
